  • What would you do if you found an egg on the side of the road. You pick it up and decide to keep it. you play with it. You love the egg. Its you best friend you couldn't possibly love it anymore than you do. Then it hatches into Magikarp.

I would still keep it and love it cuz i love all Pokemon regardless of what it is.

  • One word: Gyarados. :P No I'm kidding but it's a living being which you've cared for there's no way I could leave. It's like having an ugly baby, I'd love it no matter what. (probably not the greatest reference, and I'm not that shallow but I'm just saying I'd love it no matter what!)

  • I'd keep it, because guess what it evolves into? (Joking myself) Besides, if I loved the egg, like it was my best friend, or even my child, then why'd it change when it hatches into a useless pokemon? Besides, I like Magikarp a lot. ^_^

  • Magikarp deserves some lovin'. :D

Yup, I'd pop him straight into a fish tank, feed him, care for him, wait for him to evolve and then wonder how this is going to work because there are no Poké Balls in this world and I don't have a tank big enough for a Gyarados. >.<

    EDIT: 700 posts! :D:D:D:D

  • Yeah I mean there would be a lot of problems having a Pokemon in a world with no Pokemon balls or anything... I mean I guess I would carry him around all the time in a fish bowl but then what? It would kinda just be like owning a normal fish... Of course I would still care for it and about it but...I dont know. And if it evolved... Oh gez that's definetly going to be a problem... Thank god I live right next to the ocean XD

  • If I knew that it was a Magikarp egg, then I'll probably not raise it. If I did, and it evolved because of me, then I probably put the human race in jeopardy. The most humane thing I could do was to give it to some specialists to raise it in a controlled environment.

  • Lol. Said specialists would torture it.

I'd raise it, treat it like, brilliantly, until it evolved. Then swim round and down into Whitehall, bang the politicians' heads together, throw Gordon Brown into the sea, put Conservatives in charge, and force them to listen to Nick Clegg :P

I've had this odd obsession with Magikarp this past week... I'd keep it regardless anyways. It's still my best friend and Magikarp deserves some love. :D

Release it into the wild. I wouldn't be able to care for a fish.

Make some Karp fillets for dinner.

I just wouldn't feel like bothering with a Magikarp or a Gyarados.

Yep yep, waffle-san stole the words right out of my mouth. Keep it and then turn it into a fierce Gyrados like Misty's. The perfect way to help it gain levels is to throw it at other pkmn immediately resulting in a KO. Though...make sure you don't throw it too hard or it might not like you when it becomes a gyrados.

  • If a Magikarp does hatch from the egg, then I would definitely keep it. Who knows, this could probably be the only Pokemon on Earth. I would name her Georgie and keep her in a blue fish tank.

    Even if I love her to death, she wouldn't evolve. Because of she does, the military would probably have to put her down. Worse, they would transport her to Area 51. ;;

Besides, her being a Magikpark instead of a Gyarados would make the situation better. I would carry her around in a fish bowl and show it to all my friends.

  • I quite like Magikarp, so yes!

But had the question be "it turns out to be your least favourite Pokémon"... DDDD: I don't think I could bring myself to keep an Aipom, no matter how attached I got to its egg. ._.;; So really, I'd be so grateful it was a Magikarp and not something else.

  • Put it through an intense strength training regimen (swimming with weights attached, etc.) so when it evolves it will aid me in achieving my goal of world domination.

Or just stick it in a fish tank and exchange blank stares with it.
