  • erm sorry but does anyone know how to edit vulpix into heart gold?

Sorry for taking long to reply to this, I was hoping someone would post a better method than the one I have but oh well.

If you're using an emulator then I suggest using something like pokegen or pokesav to add the pokemon to your team. They're both fairly easy to use and even easier to find. Just make sure not to abuse the opportunity to influence the IV's and EV's of your Pokemon as that's against the rules and also kind of kills the fun of the challenge. Just put random for the IV's and leave the EV's all at zero, if you want the EV's you have to get them fair and square.

This is the only method I know of to put a pokemon into the 4th gen games so if anyone else can post a better method it would be greatly appreciated.

    Hopefully this helps you. :)

  • I guess I'm going to have to do Johto on Gold, because my AR freezes when I try to run it. And every Hg/SS Rom I get freezes.

This is my third run of johto..... And it ought to be a very simple region too... I'll definitely be Lv.100 though....

  • After completing my Fire Red run in around 7 hours real time and writing the post in here, the site decides to be a genius and get rid of my post so the only info I've now got is below.

    Update #1

    Pokemon of Choice: Venusaur
    Challenge: Single
    Game: Fire Red

I finished the game with Venusaur at lvl 89

  • Update #1 Ultimate Solo Sneasel Run
I'm planning on updating for every region, and I was going to take screens of every gym leader like most do, but I forgot for Kanto :3.

So I'll start with why I choose sneasel, I don't have a ds at the moment, and I sold all my gameboy games a while back, when I thought I was done with pokemon. So I have to play on emulators for now, not a big deal except I can't play HG or SS since as most of you probably know they freeze and become unplayable quite often. So for now, until I get my 3ds(next week, so excited, haven't played pokemon on a console for a while) I have to stick with a pokemon in the first two generatoins. I also wanted to try to do one no one else has, so I decided on Sneasel finally. It's one of my favorites, and I haven't given it as much love since Weavile came out, it's not that I don't like Weavile, I just like Sneasel a lot more. After I started playing I realised that Sneasel wasn't the best pick, especially for the gameboy games. For one it have a 4x weekness to fighting, which I forgot all about. Also it's movepool isn't too great, which I can get around, but worst of all, dark used to be special and it's a physical attacker, so that made it's movepool a lot worse in Kanto, and i"m guessing it won't be much different in Johto since I'll be playing Crystal. This first update won't be too great, I'll go more in depth with my next one.

-Brock- He was fairly easy, a lot easier than I planned. Sneasel only knew scratch and quick attack, so I was grinding until she learned a new move, and eventually she did, but it was screech. I decided to check her 3rd gen movepool, and it wasn't going to get any better for a while since I was grinding in Viridian forest. So I screeched down geodude and he kept using defense curl, then I two hit it with quick attack. Then for onix I screeched it down and it was mostly binding, once it was down though it started using rock tomb, I used potions until it missed then quick attacked it to death, 2-3 I think it was.
-Misty- Sneasel learned faint attack by now which one hit staryu and two hit starmie
-Surge- I taught him brick break so she one hit everything
-Erika- I taught him aerial ace and ice beam so it was another one hit gym
-Koga- This one was tougher, but I got a lucky freeze with ice beam on weezing
-Sabrina- Oh so easy with the new blackglasses I gave Sneasel to hold
-Blaine- I lost the first time around, so then the second time I decided to switch out to my hm slaves to avoid the intimidates and won very easily that time
-Giovani- I feel embaressed for him

As of the elite four, everyone was extremely easy except my rival and Bruno, I lost the first time to bruno. Hi Jump Kick from hitmonlee one hit me easily. Then the second time I guess aerial ace did max damage and I one hit him, then I got a VERY VERY lucky crit on Machamp
My rival was only hard because I didn't have any PP left and I sold my ethers earlier for some reason and didn't get any more.

Sneasel, I don't feel like typing out the stats so here they are.

New glitch move! it's called TM50, and is actually quite useful! A multi-hit move with a base power of 58 and neutral typing against everything! What else can you wish for :) The only problem is that it has only 28 accuracy. But it would prove to be extremely useful against the Elite Four.

The boss of Silph Co. is... Harry Potter???
