Hey guys there are some questions about changing the female in Firered, so I'm here to answer it for you.
The tools you need:
Tile Molester Alternate (go to Zophar's Domain or I have the link in the attach)
Paint (if you want to edit it real well)
a VBA (for pallettes)
A brain (A very useful tool)
Patience (also useful)
Will to Learn (very very useful)
WARNING REALLY N00B FIRENDLY!
First open up your Tile Molester Alternative
Now go to the Navigate option then press Go To
then next enter the offset
00E6CEBC
Wait that looks gross! D= We should change it go to the view tab, then block size then click "custom"
now you see it looks like 16 16
highlight press delete then change it to 8 8
now if it looks glitchy play with the buttons the + DIVIDE BUTTONS
Now open the VBA open the rom you want to use and then play until you are in a battle.
go to tools okay then to Pallette viewer
you'll see pallettes here just click on Save OBJ That's your pallette
After you are finished with saving that go to tile molester alternate again,
you click on import pallette right? now click on the file you saved as
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Now it will look like this!
Okay if you don't want to edit anything, press edit, then click paste from! add the indexed sprite you want to use, (unfortuately with the same pallette), then add.
I don't know hjow to edit the pallette that confidently so I can't show you
It should look like this now (less fast)
