Moving from Moscow to Tucson!

Hello everyone! On the 23rd, my wife and I will be moving from Moscow, Idaho to Tucson, Arizona! It is our first big move (only other move was only 90 miles compared to 1,250) and we are both nervous and really happy to be moving. I was just wondering what kind of events go on in a big city like Tucson and what to expect from the area for anyone who lives near or has been there. Obviously, I am aware of the heat but beyond that we are going in pretty blind. I will also probably be looking for a DnD group once we are settled in if anyone is in one, let me know!
