    Pokemon Revamped "red" Version


    Note: FireRed Tiles are Place holders

    Introduction:
    This is a revamped version of Pokemon Red (metal version).
    Its not just recolor but some edit to route's, event's, tiles, sprites, Trainers and more...

    Story:
    The Story is based on Red Version.(will continue with the fire red events)

    Features:
    Every thing is Revamped XD
    GSC Revamp tiles.
    Johto is Optional
    Day 'n Night System.
    New partners to help you on your journey (ex: brock and misty they helped ash on his journey.)
    PokeGear (this isnt new feature just edited graphics and some features from POKENAV)
    Note:Gen I & Gen II are Sprites Mixed up (because some of the gen I are not that good in my opinion.)
    More Features coming soon.

    Things going to be removed:
    Ugly Trainer Sprites(ex. Team Rockets)
    Weird Pokemon Sprites.
    Some of the Tiles.
    Some Graphics.
    (these will be replaced by GSC ones)

    I was actually looking forward to this until I saw the screens, man. It's not a revamp if you're just adding shading to the sprites.
    Try changing the whole style of the game, and fix up your maps, they're too empty.
     
    I must agree with the two comment above.
    This was a bit dissapionting.
    I was expecting B/W or at least a HG/SS Styled re-make.
    As for the map I see it's pallet town but you've re-mapped it wrong.

    there's room to go beside and behind the homes.
    and as for the red front sprite. You shouldn't use it unless you know whom made it and they have given you permission.

    Thx for telling about the maps and i dint use the sprite yet :P
    i am sorry i forgot to mention all those were place holders,
    and about Pewter city's house it was made with HGSS pallet (the doors and windows got used with FRLG pallet sorry if its bad to mix 'em)
    Also the Lapras and Snorlax they were recolored & reshaped with the HGSS pallet
    EDIT:

    Reds Front sprite belongs to ~Light-PA

    It's more like the pallet town map rather than houses shoved in corners!

    The above people mean that they wished to see a B/W style game, not a gen III styled one.

    uh?? this is meant to be revamp version of Red version or do you mean i should
    revamp with B/W pallet?
    well i have this idea of revamping the beta 1 with Fire Red's pallet and then i will again revamp them with HGSS/B/W Pallet for
    Beta 2.
    and thx, i will PM you when i will be revamping these tiles again with b/w and hgss pallet.
    (because i have some problems with my RPGMXP)

    Wait so you're making FireRed but with poorly revamped Red graphics?
    I could make this game in an hour by hacking.
    As people have said, it would be much better if you used 4/5th gen styled graphics.

    Well kinda.
    If it's satying as a revamping project than yes because I want to revamp the old tiles :3
    If it's become a B/W thing I dont know what i could do. D:
     
    I agree with everyone else. At the moment it's a poor version of FR/LG. I think your best bet would be to switch to 5th gen graphics -- then people will show a lot more positive interest.

    I think people have simply moved on from the 3rd gen graphics, they don't attract any sort of excitement these days.
     
    FR is actually a revamped version of Red, so I don't think there's a point in making this game. I'm afraid not many people would be interested in playing this game, as they have propably played both FRLG and RB, and that makes the game pretty useless. Like others said, the game would be more interesting with BW or DPPtHGSS graphics.
     
    i think they should make a remake of red, but if they were to make a remake of blue, they should call it deep-sea blue, or deep-sea saphire.

    Those are actually the same screenshots, so I have no idea why you call the second one an "update".

    There are rather many tile errors on those maps, and you could work to make them less empty and straight, for example the patch of sand is a rectangle.
    Also, what is that thing under the character supposed to be?
