so what are the pokemon that can be traded in the gts.

All of them can be traded

updater.exe doesn't work, It's not your file I guess but my old PC.


EDIT: Never mind, I am manually updating through following the updater.ini's links.

GUI completion: 100% (not going to redo the casino, its fine as it is)

Good stuff getting the gui redone. what kinda work is required for the maps to be redone?

with the maps its just a simple case of getting rid of the black borders since the sides now use 11 squares and the top needs 7 for the borders

Next GTS giveaway i'm planning to start on the release of 0.14. Still debating what it should be, i have a few ideas, though i'd like to know what you want.

Also planning on redesigning the interface for the GTS, now that it has a larger screen i'll be able to add more details to it and make it look nicer. Whether it'll be in 0.14 or 0.15 is undecided at the moment

That error is normally caused by the game not being up to date. You need to run the updater.exe file located in the game folder before playing

Version 0.14 is finally uploaded. I had major problems getting it to encrypt but everything seems ok now.

Unfortunately the file size has shot up to 418MB due to the animated sprites.


0.14 can be downloaded either using the updater, or the Demo link on the first post has been updated to 0.14. Heres the link for the demo

Hi, I've updated the game to the new version (0.14) and I got a issue when I try to play the game. I attached some pics to show you the problem.
In the pics you can see on the pics there's the annoying gray square in front of the game, I thinks it's a resolution problem but I can't find the option to change it on the Options menu. Someone has an ideia how to solve this? Thanks.

does this issue appear when playing an existing game from version 0.13 below, or does it appear on a new game?

I suspect its to do with the resolution in the save file being different from what version 0.14 wants.

The resolution can't be changed, i had several issues with it when changing resolutions messing up the screen, this being one of them.

I played the 0.13 version and then updated the game to 0.14 and got this issue.
I deleted the save folder from C:\Users\*username*\Saved Games, and it fixed the problem erasing my adventure and fixing the resolution. This shows that 0.14 version is incompatible with 0.13 saved games and configuration, oh well not too bad because I did only beat Brock :P.

One question: Pokemons that need to be traded to evolve like Graveler to Golem, Machoke to Machap , etc. In this game they need to be traded to someone else or it's by leveling up?

I thought that might be the issue. What you can do is redownload version 0.13 from here (http://lightning-yellow.com/download.php) load your save file up and change the resolution to the lowest setting. save the game then load the save in 0.14. seemed to work for me

At the moment they need to be traded via GTS, though I may make the final evolutions available somehow at a later stage

Yeah that worked but the resolution itself it's too tiny I think :P
Anyway keep up with the good work, loving it so far.

The resolution is bigger than what the DS screen uses, and larger than whats planned for the new essentials. The problem with going with a very high resolution is you end up with a lot of unused space on maps.
