    Team Name: Drizzlerachi
    Type: Weather/Hyper Offensive
    Difficulty: 6/10
    Rating: N/A

    Politoed @ Choice Scarf
    Trait: Drizzle
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
    Modest Nature
    - Hydro Pump
    - Focus Blast
    - Ice Beam
    - Psychic

Politoed is a very obvious choice and even more obviously the biggest asset to this team. But this Politoed packs a hidden surprise: Choice Scarf. Politoed isn't the fastest pokemon in the world but with a choice scarf it can easily outspeed nearly everything that doesn't have a choice scarf. The suprise factor + rain should be enough to OHKO most threats that try to set up on Politoed. Even Weather Change switch ins like Ninetails and Tyranitar can barely take two hits from focus blast or hydro pump. If their health is lower than 50% they're almost guaranteed to die.

Specially Defensive Ninetales (252 HP, 120 SDef, Modest) VS Hydro Pump in Sun - 42.9% - 50.3%

Specially Defensive Tyranitar (252 HP, 252 SDef, Adamant) VS Focus Blast in Sand Storm - 58.4% - 69.3%

This Politoed was built to win the weather wars and nothing else.

    Latios (M) @ Life Orb
    Trait: Levitate
    EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
    Timid Nature (+Speed -Attack)
    - Surf
    - Draco Meteor / Dragon Pulse
    - Psyshock
    - Recover

Latios is here to deal with non-scarfed dragon types as well as take pressure off the team when it comes to earthquakes. Surf's power is ridiculous when boosted by rain, even without STAB. This set is pretty standard all around but works well on this team so all quake carrying threats can be eliminated for Jirachi and Ferrothorn. Latios also appreciates how well Ferrothorn can eat through the dragon-type attacks aimed at him.

    Jirachi @ Leftovers
    Trait: Serene Grace
    EVs: 224 HP / 252 SAtk / 32 Spd
    Modest Nature
    - Calm Mind
    - Thunder
    - Water Pulse
    - Substitute

The star of the team him(her?)self, Jirachi. The moveset is obvious but difficult for your opponent to predict. Thunder Paralyzes and does big damage to anything that doesn't resist it. Water Pulse gets the rain boost and has a 40% chance to confuse. That may seem low compared to Thunder's 60% Paralyze chance but when you confuse your opponent over 1/3 of the time it definitely comes in handy. After your foe is paralyzed and confused, (And has a 1/4th chance of actually attacking) go behind a sub, set up and proceed to sweep.

    Thundurus-Therian (M) @ Life Orb
    Trait: Volt Absorb
    EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
    Timid Nature
    - Hidden Power [ice]
    - Thunder
    - Focus Blast
    - Agility

No Drizzle team is complete without Thunderus. Thunderus is a monster capable of running through entire teams with near perfect type coverage, unrivaled speed after agility and Volt absorb to eat the Thunderbolts and Volt-Switches aimed at Politoed and Vaporeon. Not much else needs to be said, really.

    Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
    Trait: Iron Barbs
    IVs: 0 Speed
    EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SpD
    Relaxed Nature
    - Stealth Rock
    - Leech Seed
    - Thunder Wave
    - Power Whip/ Spikes

In Rain, Ferrothorn only has two real weaknesses; Ground and Fighting. Fortunately for Ferrothorn, Latios and Thunderus (And their immunities & resistances) are both on this team. Ferrothorn becomes an unstoppable for an unprepared team. Ferrothorn serves the Defensive wall/ Hazard support role on this team and it does it's job well. Without the looming threat of a fire blast to the face, Sub-Seeding works exceptionally well. If only he got Rain Dish...

Warning: If you decide to not give Ferrothorn Power Whip, beware taunt users.

    Vaporeon @ Leftovers
    Trait: Hydration
    EVs: 252 Def / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
    Calm Nature
    - Rest
    - Acid Armor
    - Scald / Scald
    - Ice Beam

Ah Vaporeon. My personal favorite pokemon of all time. How could I miss the perfect opportunity of including him on my team as a special wall? This is a standard set due to the fact that nothing more needs to be changed really. Substitute Scald for Surf if you want more power but you sacrifice the burn chance sadly.

POSSIBLE SUBSTITUTIONS (They work almost as well on the team or serve the same purpose):

    Latios ---> Hydreigon OR Latias

Thunderus Therian ---> Tornadus Therian (Not Recommended but optional)

    Ferrothorn ---> Genesect OR Forrtress

    Vaporeon ---> Tentacruel

Please leave a rating on a scale of 1 - 10 and explain what you like, dislike, or would change. Also, please rate the thread :)

  • Team looks good, but a few nitpicks:

SubCM Jirachi is better off using 252 HP/4 SAtk/252 Spe with a Timid nature so that it can outspeed as much as it can and make 101 HP Substitutes, which can't be broken by a single Seismic Toss/Night Shade.

Vaporeon has a wide support movepool, so you should take advantage of it:
    -Rest
    -Scald
    -Roar/Wish
    -Toxic/Ice Beam
    Nature: Bold
    EVs: 248 HP/252 Def/8 SDef
    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Hydration

It might be a better idea to give Ferrothorn Power Whip so that it won't be screwed by Taunt, rather than a second hazard.

Opposing Ferrothorn are a serious pain to deal with at the moment. Something else to consider here is Volcarona because it has access to Hurricane and has Fire STAB to deal with Ferrothorn, despite its increased Water weakness in the rain:
    -Quiver Dance
    -Bug Buzz
    -Hurricane
    -Fire Blast/Substitute
    Nature: Modest/Timid
    EVs: 252 SAtk/4 SDef/252 Spe
    Item: Life Orb/Leftovers
