Kanto Region - Swimming in the sun of FUCHSIA BEACH!! Σ(ノ°▽°)ノ

The Pokémon Tower houses hundreds of graves of deceased Pokémon in all of its seven floors. Many people visit the building daily to pay their respects to the fallen. On all floors other than the first two, though, the possibility of being attacked by wild Pokémon is present.​

Heading south from Fuchsia City, Route 19 becomes a dual carriageway, as a series of ledges and a rock wall separate the route into a southbound-only west half and a dual-direction east half. After three ledges, the rock wall ends and the route is reunited on an unnamed beach.​

After relaxing on the beach you feel refreshed to take on the nearby Gym Leader Koga. With your expanded team, there is nothing left to do but challenge him, and get a chance to win the famed SOUL BADGE.



You needn't do anything to partake in this challenge - after all, it's natural that a travelling trainer such as yourself would rise up to battle... but whether you win is a different story. To defeat KOGA, you will need to expand your team to at least contain:

- 5 Pokémon total
- 2 evolved Pokémon

Additionally, for any Pokémon on your team whose type is super-effective against the leader's type, will allow you to shave off one Pokémon from the 'total' requirement.
If you win the battle, KOGA will award you with the SOUL BADGE, which awards you a one-time-use Poison-type favor to be used on your journey.​
