    4 years ago I stumbled across a video on YouTube of a rom hack that replaced Pokémon with icons. The owner didn't have a copy after they uploaded the video and now their channel has been inactive for 8 years. 4 years ago I tried to recreate it - and failed, but today I have come back to ROM hacking to try again!

    So here is my hack in progress (Super early alpha):

    Iconmon: Virtual Battle!
    • Iconmon are unlike regular Pokemon and can dish out powerful virtual attacks!

    This ROM will feature:

    • All new attacks with custom graphics
    • An all new region to explore - The Internet!
    • New evil teams to fight against!
    • New creatures/programs called Iconmon!
    • New typing for the Iconmon
    • New items!
    • More stuff as well when I come up with ideas...
