    Who is PC's favourite Pokemon Anime character? Who could be THE main character of the Pokemon Anime, instead of Ash Ketchum & Pikachu? Welcome to the Pokemon Anime Character Polls! Here, these polls will compare and contrast each of the important characters in the anime, as well as some noteworthy characters in the anime, from each season.

    Each week, you can vote for any one of the characters shown in each poll from a specific season. You aren?t required to pick just one character; you can vote for as many as you'd like to ensure your favorites get through. The characters with the most votes at the end of the week will earn a spot in our grand finale, where the winners from all other polls will compete to be crowned as PC's favourite Pokemon Anime character, and to be the alternative main character of the Pokemon Anime! For some fun, I'll even throw in some topic questions for the one who gets the most votes!

    The Kanto & Johto sagas!

    I'm lumping these two together as there weren't much characters introduced in the Johto saga as there were more returning characters from the first season of the anime. So, I'll make this a two part poll. Let's see who we have to choose from this week:

    Misty

    Misty was the first compainion Ash had, and the leader of the Cerulean Gym. She uses water Pokemon, most notably her Psyduck, Corsola, Staryu, Starmie, Politoed, Horsea, and Gyarados.

    Brock was another one of Ash's primary companions, and the first Gym Leader Ash fought against. He's very much into women, and studied to become a Pokemon Breeder, which later decided to train to be a Pokemon Doctor. He mainly uses Rock pokemon, like Sudowoodo, Onix and Geodude, but also known for Crobat, Chansey, Crogunk, Foretress, Marshtomp, and Ludicolo.

    1/3 of Team Rocket, who follows Ash to capture Pikachu. She has a soft side for cute pokemon, and is into Pokemon Contests. She's known for using Wobbuffet, Arbok, Seviper, Yanmega, and Dustox, but also used Woobat, Frillish, and Mimikyu.

    Another 1/3 of Team Rocket, who follows Ash to capture Pikachu. He's actually kind of a caring person who has some pretty interesting.. interests like bottle caps. He used Weezing, and Victreebel, and also had Cacnea, Chimecho, Carnivine, and Mime Jr. He also had Inkay, Amoonguss and Yamask, and now has Mareanie.

    Meowth is the third member of Team Rocket, who can speak human language. He's like the advisor of Jessie and James, in a way. He knows basic moves like Fury Swipes and Scratch.

    Gary was Ash's longtime rival in the Johto and Kanto saga before going on to become a Pokemon researcher; he has a wide variety of pokemon, but his more known pokemon are Electivire, Blastoise, and Umbreon.

    Tracy was introduced in the Orange Islands who became one of Ash's companions while they were there; he likes drawing different Pokemon he sees. He has a Marill, Venonat, and Scyther.

    Professor Oak, while more of a reoccurring character, gave Ash's first Pokemon: a Pikachu. He knows many things about Pokemon, and has helped Ash many times throughout his journey.

    If Ash&Pikachu arent the main protagonists, then Gary MotherF&@*# Oak has to be it. The guy could start traveling again and we can follow his travels as he becomes stronger and more knowledgeable about Pokemon. Misty is locked at her Gym while Brock has been overdone x 10. Team Rocket is intriguing but they're locked at the hip with Ash. Tracey is Professor Oak's lackey and Professor Oak himself is too old. Therefore by process of elimination, its Gary hands down.
     
    I'm partial to Misty and Gary more these days.
    Though I think the Team Rocket trio could carry their own show.
