She and her family followed magearna to the Isle of armour
then the ship got caught in a storm
then all of them died
except lillie
who survived but fell into a deep coma
It was Gloria and Victor who brought her to a pokemon center
After she woke up
she forgot everything
but since snowy(an alolan vulpix, if you haven't watched the anime) has made a subconscious memory of ice types in her mind
so
she trained herseld
to become the best ice type trainer
and became the gym of Circhester
and thats basically it

Canvassed Circhester (postgame version). Discovered no reason why. Crawled through Gordie's and Melony's lines and trainer cards. Yielded no information.

Swaps between leaders in the Pokemon Adventures manga. Does not explain why in the Bulbapedia article. Implies both are major league gym leaders there.

May have kept alternate leaders out of the Wyndon tournament due to brackets. Works best with specific numbers. Never introduced them prior to then either. Cannot discount the possibility of it being cut content too.
