Evolve pokemon without trading!!

I found out how to evolve graveler, etc. without trading!

1) submit the pokemon in GTS
2)set that you want, say a lv.100 geodude.
3) find another pokemon and trade for it
4) take your pokemon back, and there you go!

Not if you take two preventive measures. The first is to ask for an impossible trade. A good example is a level nine and under Bayleef. The second preventive measure is to make sure no one is offering a level nine and under Bayleef.

i tried it but it's actually quite a lot of trouble.. easier if you just trade with a friend who has an nds.

the thing is when i was trying to make a trade on gts people kept seeking ridiculous things. they're all asking for high level pokemon or legends while offering common things like weedles/pigeys.

I have known about this since pearl found out by mistake.

As mentioned it's not actually new - it's been known since soon after D/P came out. So seeing this isn't HGSS-specific, I'll move this to Pokemon general gaming... *punts thread*
