hi me and my mates are having a bet around a pokemon battle.

    some of our rules are
    .no legendaries
    .one pseudo legendary
i really want to build a team around mega garchomp but have never really played competitive pokemon before.

i was wondering if someone could help me build a really OP team haha that if possible includes my favourite pokemon Gengar x

If you aren't familiar with EVs, IVs, and Natures (and in the context of competitive battling), you'll want to first read up on that before doing anything else.

But as for actual team members, a place to start would be with a Pokemon that has the ability Sand Stream, like Tyranitar or Hippowdon, in order to make use of Mega Garchomp's ability Sand Force. Gengar you can probably just plop in there with a standard set, it has solid Spe+SpA and good coverage between its STABs and like Focus Blast and shit.

Also, are you doing single battles or double battles?

Don't need to have both Tyranitar and Hippo on the team, it's just so you have more than one option for a sand summoner
