Darkai is good enough, or even better. He has that dark look[hey, it's even in his name!], is a pure dark type, and, like most legends, was a major Pokemon in one of the movies! So, I think he's great.

i think that a dark type legend should have been included much earlier(such as GSC, when dark types were first introduced).

well when you take Darkrai for example it wouldn't fit well in any other region or regions history very well. But in Sinnoh's Myths its pretty awsome!!
If it were a different dark legendary i probably wouldn't have appreciated as much as Darkrai was a well worth wait xD
