[ASM & Hex] Need information about how to check the result of a battle

I remember of seeing a post about a RAM location and/or a var that stores the result of the last battle in this forum. Or at least a routine that do that.
I'm talking about something like this: if player caught the last battled Pokemon, the value is X, if he defeated is Y.
For Fire Red.
