    • So, I finally earned my first badge. I went out and caught a Geodude as soon as I could, which was much more difficult than I anticipated since it's apparently rare in Platinum.I didn't need to do much grinding. The available trainers proved to be enough experience to take on Roark.

    I'm doing a Fire Red playthrough. I need 6 legally obtainable Fire Red pokemon, with no other restrictions. Someone help me out?

    You just unknowingly crushed my heart.
    ;-; The first and only shiny I ever saw was a Geodude in Platinum right around the first gym too. I accidentally ran because the DS screen wasn't calibrated well.

    Anyways. Heres an update to my adventures.

    Ok I made it work, just beated Roxanna got my first badge.

    Phanpy lv 14
    Natu lv 14
    Wynaut lv 12
    Zigzagoon lv 5

    Tactic I used: fought 2 lv 5 pokemon with Phanpy till I used growl 40 times, Odder Sleuth 40 times and Defense Curl 34 times. So I had 35 PP for Tackle and 6 for Defense Curl. Natu took out the first Geodude and made the second Geodude use a potion. Than Phanpy came in, and I used Defense Curl 6 times so he was pretty much invincible. So after 35 Tackles and 20ish Struggles and 4-5 super potions I won my first badge. This is the worst team I have ever used, but Im determined to finish the challange, I'll keep you guys posted.
