Electric types really aren't the most popular Pokemon, so I decided to make a team full of them. I want to know how useful these are and how I can make the team better. Thanks in advance. Things in brakcets are what I've edited.

Notice: This team will contain no legendaries.

Skarmory (F) @ Flying Gem
Trait: Keen Eye(Sturdy)
EVs: 8 Def / 252 HP / 248 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Whirlwind
- Tailwind(Or Rock Slide)
- Counter(Brave Bird)

Electric types aren't exactly known for dealing high damage so Skarmory is there to start off the battle well. Once it's down to it's last bit of HP, a Counter will come in handy. Tailwind is for the next Pokemon.

Emolga (M) @ Electric Gem
Trait: Static
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 Atk
Hasty Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Electro Ball
- U-turn
- Toxic

This Emolga is for special attack, with Thunder Bolt and Electro Ball(boosted by Tailwind) and also to lay in a nice bit of toxic. When things get ugly, it can switch out with U-Turn.

Emolga (F) @ Electric Gem (Raichu (F) @ Electric Gem)
Trait: Static
EVs: 252 Spd / 52 HP / 200 Atk
Jolly Nature
- Spark(Wild Charge)
- Swagger
- U-turn(Volt Switch because Raichu isn't compatible with U-Turn)
- Thunder Wave

Another Emolga, this time for physical attack with Spark(Wild Charge). Thunder Wave and Swagger are for further annoying the opponent.

Lanturn (F) @ Electric Gem
Trait: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Blizzard
- Thunderbolt

Dear Ground Types. Prepare to meet your maker. The special sweeper of the team, armed with Hydro Pump, Blizzard and Thunderbolt.
Volt Switch is there in case of something like Ludicolo(Actually, a Grass/Water could kill my team in a flash. Don't tell anyone though.) shows up.

Aggron (M) @ Muscle Band
Trait: Rock Head
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- ThunderPunch
- Iron Defense
- Head Smash

The physical sweeper of the team. Aggron can also tank a lot with Iron Defence. Head Smash does no recoil due to Rock Head. Earthquake can deal with any rock or ice types sent out to deal with Emolga.

Luxray(Electrive) (M) @ Fighting Gem
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Crunch(Cross Chop)
- Superpower(Earthquake)
- Volt Switch
- Ice Fang(Ice Punch)

Another physical sweeper armed with Crunch, Superpower and Ice Fang(Well, that's the Ludicolo problem solved). Volt Switch in there for obvious reasons. Superpower can deal a whopping 225 base damage with the Fighting Gem.

Tailwind is largely unnecessary on Skarmory because most Electric Pokemon are fast enough already. It also has better support options out there. Why is it not using Roost for recovery and Sturdy to potentially survive fatal hits at full health? It needs those things to function:
-Stealth Rock/Spikes
-Whirlwind
-Roost
-Brave Bird/Taunt
Nature: Impish/Careful
EVs: 252 HP/232 Def/24 Spe or 252 HP/232 SDef/24 Spe
Item: Leftovers/Shed Shell
Ability: Sturdy

Lanturn's stats lean towards defensive sets; otherwise, you're better off using Rotom-W:
-Scald
-Thunderbolt/Discharge
-Ice Beam
-Heal Bell/Thunder Wave
Nature: Calm
EVs: 52 HP/252 Def/204 SDef
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Volt Absorb

or
-Substitute
-Charge Beam
-Surf
-Ice Beam
Nature: Modest
EVs: 52 HP/252 SAtk/204 SDef
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Volt Absorb

or
-Rest
-Sleep Talk
-Scald
-Thunderbolt
Nature: Calm
EVs: 52 HP/252 Def/204 SDef
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Volt Absorb

Rotom-W:
-Thunderbolt/Volt Switch
-Hydro Pump
-Hidden Power (Ice/Fire)
-Trick
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Choice Specs/Choice Scarf

or
-Thunderbolt/Volt Switch
-Hydro Pump
-Will-o-Wisp/Hidden Power (Fire)
-Pain Split
Nature: Modest
EVs: 144 HP/252 SAtk/112 Spe
Item: Leftovers

or
-Substitute
-Pain Split
-Thunderbolt
-Hydro Pump
Nature: Modest
EVs: 236 SAtk/20 SDef/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb

There are better Electric Pokemon out there than Emolga and Luxray, like Jolteon, Zapdos and Thundurus-Therian, heck even Electivire and Eelektross. (there are a lot more, but I'll stop here). Due to species clause, you can't use 2 Pokemon of the same species on the same team:

Jolteon:
-Thunderbolt
-Volt Switch
-Hidden Power (Ice/Fire)
-Shadow Ball/Signal Beam
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 SAtk/4 SDef/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb/Choice Specs
Ability: Volt Absorb

Zapdos:
-Substitute
-Roost
-Thunderbolt
-Heat Wave/Hidden Power (Ice)/Toxic
Nature: Timid
EVs: 192 HP/64 Def/252 Spe
Item: Leftovers

or
-Thunderbolt
-Heat Wave
-Hidden Power (Ice/Grass)
-Roost
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb/Leftovers

or
-Thunderbolt
-Roost
-Heat Wave/Hidden Power (Ice)
-Thunder Wave/Roar
Nature: Bold
EVs: 248 HP/228 Def/8 SDef/24 Spe
Item: Leftovers

Thundurus-Therian:
-Thunderbolt
-Volt Switch
-Hidden Power (Ice)
-Focus Blast
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Choice Scarf

or
-Nasty Plot
-Thunderbolt
-Hidden Power (Ice)
-Focus Blast/Substitute
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb/Lum Berry/Leftovers

or
-Agility
-Thunderbolt
-Hidden Power (Ice)
-Grass Knot/Focus Blast
Nature: Timid/Modest
EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb

or
-Thunderbolt
-Volt Switch
-Hidden Power (Ice)
-Focus Blast/Grass Knot
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Expert Belt

Electivire:
-Thunderbolt/Wild Charge
-Flamethrower
-Ice Punch/Hidden Power (Grass)
-Earthquake/Cross Chop
Nature: Hasty/Naive
EVs: 144 Atk/140 SAtk/232 Spe
Item: Life Orb/Expert Belt
Ability: Motor Drive

or
-Wild Charge
-Ice Punch
-Earthquake
-Cross Chop
Nature: Adamant/Jolly
EVs: 32 HP/252 Atk/224 Spe
Item: Life Orb/Expert Belt
Ability: Motor Drive

Eelektross:
-Wild Charge/ThunderPunch
-Superpower/Drain Punch
-Fire Punch/Aqua Tail
-U-turn
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 128 HP/252 Atk/128 Spe
Item: Choice Band/Leftovers

or
-Volt Switch
-Flamethrower
-Giga Drain
-Thunderbolt/Acid Spray
Nature: Modest
EVs: 172 HP/252 SAtk/84 Spe
Item: Choice Specs/Leftovers

or
-Coil
-Wild Charge/ThunderPunch
-Drain Punch
-Substitute/Return/Dragon Tail
Nature: Careful
EVs: 252 HP/4 Def/252 SDef
Item: Leftovers

Aggron isn't good in OU because of its common weaknesses. Dragonite or Salamence should replace it because they're immune to Ground and synergize well with Skarmory:

Dragonite:
-Dragon Dance
-Outrage/Dragon Claw
-Fire Punch
-Earthquake/ExtremeSpeed/Roost
Nature: Adamant/Jolly
EVs: 252 Atk/4 SDef/252 Spe
Item: Lum Berry/Leftovers

or
-Outrage
-ExtremeSpeed
-Fire Punch/Waterfall
-Earthquake/Superpower
Nature: Adamant/Jolly
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
Item: Choice Band
Ability: Multiscale

or
-Substitute
-Thunder Wave/Flamethrower
-Dragon Tail
-Roost
Nature: Careful
EVs: 252 HP/4 Def/252 SDef
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Multiscale

or
-Substitute
-Dragon Dance
-Dragon Claw
-Roost
Nature: Adamant/Jolly
EVs: 252 HP/64 Def/60 SDef/132 Spe
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Multiscale

or
-Draco Meteor
-Fire Blast/Flamethrower

Item: Life Orb/Lum Berry

or
-Draco Meteor
-Fire Blast
-Brick Break/Earthquake
-Roost

I forgot to mention, I am not using legendaires here.
@Platinumdude
Skarmory will be changed. One Emolga has been switched for Raichu. Those two are there to annoy with ParaFusion and Toxic. Luxray's Super Power+Fighting Gem combo is devastating, but it could be replaced with Electrive. Aggron will be given Magnet Rise and Air Balloon. The reason why I'm not replacing him is because with three Iron Defences, he is an incredible tank. Might give Lanturn a defence move and that's about it. After trying it out on Pokemon Online, it proved to be very effective, even when several Ground and Rock types were in play

Rotom (all forms) isn't a legendary, before you ask.

I'll explain why I made the changes I suggested, minus Zapdos and Thundurus-Therian:

Luxray doesn't do well in standard because of its low Speed in comparison to other Electrics.

Raichu isn't good in standard either, because of its poor defenses, making it prone to priority from things like Conkeldurr or Toxicroak. While Jolteon suffers from poor defenses, as well as a shallower movepool, it does special sweeping better than Raichu can because of its superior Special Attack and Speed. Raichu and Emolga are also too frail to use Parafusion; Lanturn can do that better.

The reason why I replaced Aggron with Dragonite or Salamence is because of its low Speed in conjunction with its common weaknesses. These factors don't give Aggron enough time to set up 3 Iron Defenses, since something like Landorus or Conkeldurr will easily take it out by preying on its 4x weaknesses to Ground and Fighting, respectively. Magnet Rise + Air Balloon is also a redundant combo.

Luxray has been replaced with Electrive. Raichu has been replaced by Jolteon. Regardless of what you've been saying, Emolga does Parafusion well, and will be given a Focus Band to make sure it works. Electroball destroys anything that has been parafused as well. Aggron does need to be changed, I've been hit by a lot lately that wrecks it, but once it has it's three I.D's up, Earthquake deals little to no damage. If it continues to be a problem, I will replace it with...

Metagross @ Ground Gem
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Iron Defense
- Magnet Rise
- Ice Punch

A physical sweeper, able to Iron-Defence his way out of most problems.

Rotom-Mow @ Grass Gem
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Leaf Storm
- Thunder Wave
- Confuse Ray
- Electro Ball

A special sweeper once again, also well prepared to parafuse anything that dares be too powerful.

While Iron Defense seems tempting to use, people don't bother with it outside of Baton Pass teams because some Pokemon will aim for the user's weaker Special Defense stat to cause loads of damage, especially if the user is weak to that move. Metagross' Defense is high enough already, so it has no need for Iron Defense. It should either be supporting the team with its good typing and support move pool or smashing things outright:
-Agility (fixes Metagross' average Speed for a sweep)
-Meteor Mash (lack of STAB hurts here)
-Earthquake
-Zen Headbutt/Ice Punch/ThunderPunch
Nature: Adamant/Jolly
EVs: 52 HP/252 Atk/204 Spe
Item: Life Orb/Lum Berry/Air Balloon

Or
-Meteor Mash
-Earthquake/Hammer Arm
-Bullet Punch
-Pursuit/Zen Headbutt/Trick
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk/4 Def
Item: Choice Band

Or
-Meteor Mash
-Earthquake
-Ice Punch
-Pursuit/Trick
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
Item: Choice Scarf

Or
-Meteor Mash
-Hidden Power (Fire)
-Psychic/Grass Knot
-Ice Punch
Nature: Brave
EVs: 252 Atk/148 SAtk/108 Spe
Item: Expert Belt/Life Orb

Or
-Meteor Mash
-Earthquake
-Stealth Rock/Ice Punch
-Trick
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 236 HP/252 Atk/20 Spe
Item: Iron Ball

Rotom-W is better than Rotom-C, IMO, because its secondary STAB doesn't weaken after each use. It also has only 1 weakness courtesy of Levitate. Refer to the above sets for it.

Edit: the Gems aren't good items in general, outside of VGCs and Flying Gem + Acrobatics. The preferred items in simulators generally are Leftovers (for walls and bulky attackers) and Life Orb for sweepers; on occasion, people use the Choice items for hitting hard or fast without setup, Focus Sash for very frail Pokemon who need to do things, Expert Belt for those with good type coverage, Air Balloon to temporarily avoid Ground moves and Lum Berry to recover from one status. Also, the gems only work once.
