    Been playing the 3ds virtual console. Finally hatched the egg the Prof. gives you. Turned out to be a shiny. Is everyones shiny or did I just hit the jackpot?

    you have never hatched the egg? How is that even possible you just leave it in your pack of pokemon and play the story..
