[Gen 8] FeraligatrMaster's Hisuian adventure

After doing some more exploring and research, my Zubat evolved into a Golbat! I can evolve it into a Crobat, but before doing that, I want to do some research with it. I also caught an Abra with a Modest nature and a Scyther with a Jolly nature.

Ready to face Kleavor, I headed again to the place where it was supposed to be. This time, I had to fight Irida. She used a Glaceon, and I used my Decidueye. I won.

After defeating Irida, Kleavor finally came to face me! I had to throw its favourite food at it while avoiding its attacks. To challenge myself, I decided to rely solely on throwing bait, and not use any Pokemon against it.

In the end, I managed to calm Kleavor down.

Before reporting to Kamado, I did some field research again. Surprisingly, I saw some Alpha Pokemon at spots where I've never seen them before. I got myself an Alpha Munchlax. Also, my Modest Abra evolved.

After reporting to Kamado, I met a girl named Vessa, who gave me an Odd Keystone. She asked me to collect wisps. Additionally, I got a lot of new requests.

And finally, I've decided to make my Golbat a major team member.

Lately, I've been busy doing requests in PLA. However, Kamado instructed me to go to the Crimson Mirelands. Also, I met a woman named Arezu.

Before I could leave Jubilife Village, Rei wanted to fight me again. He had a Mime Jr. this time. I used my Drifloon against it. Aginat his Pikachu, I used my Graveler.

After defeating Rei again, I went to the Obsidian Fieldlands, because one of the requests I accepted involved a peculiarly looking Ponyta. I thought it'd be a Galarian Ponyta, but it was a shiny Kantonian Ponyta. I soft resetted more than 10 times because I wanted an Adamant Ponyta. In the end, I got the shiny Ponyta to be Adamant.

Additionally, I caught a regular Adamant Ponyta, an Adamant Scyther, and a Happiny. Unfortunately no Adamant Machop, but I can always go back to the Obsidian Fieldlands if I want to.

Despite not having gotten an Adamant Machop yet, I decided to go to the Crimson Mirelands anyway. There, I caught a Gastly, a Budew, a Carnivine, and a Sandy Cloak Burmy. The Burmy had a Modest nature, and one of the Carnivine I got had an Adamant nature, but I didn't get that lucky with Gastly and Budew.

Aside from catching some new Pokemon, I also did something I should've done earlier. I evolved my Drifloon.

Anyways, I headed to the Solaceon Ruins. There, I met Calaba, whp seemed nice at first, but quickly took a coarse tone with me. Also, Volo arrived, wanting to fight me again. I wasn't ready for him, so I decided to go to the Obsidian Fieldlands again to train.

At the Obsidian Fieldlands, I caught another new Pokemon: a Magikarp. It had an Adamant nature. Therefore, I'm making it a minor team member.

A lot of stuff has come up lately, so I've put PL:A down for a while. Fortunately, I've managed to motivate myself to pick it up again.

I've trained my Paras until it evolved. With my new Parasect, I challenged Volo again. It was able to take down his Togepi and survive 2 Twisters from his Gible. Against his Gible, I sent out my Lopunny, which took it down with Draining Kiss.

After defeating Volo, Calaba informed us that a fragment of the wall was stolen by a group of bandits known as the Miss Fortune sisters. I had to track them down to a campfire, where they challenged me with a Toxicroak. I let my Kadabra deal with that one.

Upon defeat, the Miss Fortune sisters gave me the wall fragment. I gave it to Calaba, who put it back on the wall. Then she warmed up to me and she asked me to come to the Sludge Mound with her.

Recently, I reached the end of the Sludge Mound, and I found Ursaluna! But before engaging it, I found Odo, who needed help with setting up a new camp. I decided to help him out, and had to fight a pack of Stunky. I let my Graveler deal with them.

After setting up the camp, I engaged Ursaluna. With my trustworthy Decidueye by my side, Ursaluna wasn't that hard to beat. After its defeat, Ursaluna showed respect for me, gave me an Earth Plate, and now I can call upon it by using my flute.

With my mission finished, I had to report to Kamado again. He tasked me with looking for Arezu using Ursaluna's tracking skills. Meanwhile, I caught some new Pokemon. A Hippopotas with an Adamant nature, a Stunky with a Modest nature, a Teddiursa, Unown M, and an Alpha Tangrowth. The Alpha Tangrowth had a Brave nature. On the other hand, Tangrowth is slow, its Attack is good, and I caught it with 1 Poke Ball, so I decided to keep it. As for Unown, it had a Bold nature, but the only research task I have to do with it is collecting them, so I'm just going to do that.

Recently, I reached a Diamond Settlement in the Crimson Mirelands. There, I was asked to get a secret medicine to relieve a bunch of Psyduck from some really bad headaches. I got the medicine for them at Jubilife Village. Also, I caught myself a Rhyhorn.

For my next mission, I had to look for Arezu from the Diamond Clan. While looking for her, I encountered a Rhyhorn and a Teddiursa with an Adamant nature, which I decided to use. My Teddiursa evolved, as did my Yanma. I'm promoting them all to major team members.

Aside from them, I caught an Alpha Rhyhorn. It had a neutral nature, but since it was a heavy specimen and I caught it with one ball, I decided to keep it. Furthermore, I got my eighth star!

After finding Arezu, I had to follow Adaman to Brava Arena, where I had to face the next Noble Pokemon: a Hisuian Lilligant. This one was a challenge to deal with, as I had to pay attention the whole time to its movements, and it even hurt me a few times. Luckily, my Hisuian Decidueye could take it on.

When I went back to heal, I was caught off-guard when a cutscene appeared and Volo came along again. Fortunately, he only came to congratulate me, and he let me heal my Pokemon afterwards.

Now, I'm going to do some more research before reporting to Commander Kamado again.

Lately, I reported to Commander Kamado again. He informed me there were more people coming to Jubilife Village and instructed me to meet them. They made Jubilife Village even livelier than it already was. Then, Commander Kamado told me to go to the Cobalt Coastlands.

When I first set foot in the Cobalt Coastlands, I had to battle Irida. She sent out an Eevee and a Glaceon at the same time. My Decidueye took care of them.

After defeating Irida, I was allowed to go on, and I caught a Glameow.

As I explored the Cobalt Coastlands, I caught a Murkrow and a Spheal. Unfortunately, I got the feeling that I underestimated the Coastlands, as many of my Pokemon could barely stand up to the wild Pokemon there. Therefore, I went back to the Obsidian Fieldlands for training.

In the Obsidian Fieldlands, I caught enough Stantler to finish a research task, found an Alpha Parasect with an Adamant nature, and evolved a Budew and a Magikarp. I'm promoting my new Gyarados to a major team member.

With a few days left before Pokemon Scarlet and Violet come out, I'm going to put this game down for the time being. I'm disappointed that I haven't finished it, but some research tasks are tedious as heck. Also, a lot of stuff happened in my personal life. I think I'll get back to PLA when I'm done with Scarlet or Violet.
