Bridge issue

I recently updated to the latest version of essentials and found that when on a bridge over water, the player can be prompted if they want to surf on the bridge itself. Obviously I still want the player to be able to surf off the side of the bridge, but only if they are facing a water tile.

Note: The bridges are on terrain tag 13 and worked properly in a previous version of essentials.

Bridges are terrain tag 15. Terrain tag 13 is "Neutral", i.e. "ignore me".

Although really, you don't need special terrain tags in this case. These "bridges" are just floor tiles here, and might as well just have terrain tag 0.

I had the bridges set to terrain tag 13 because 15 made them impassable even though I had the passability of the bridge tiles set to passable. In my older version of essentials the bridges worked properly, but when I upgraded to the most recent version, the player can be prompted to surf when facing the bridge and the water instead of just the water.

I'm assuming this is because the player detects the water tiles underneath the bridge and tries to surf on it, but I don't know what else I can do to prevent this other than deleting the water tiles underneath the bridge tiles, which will end up looking sloppy since the bridge tiles have partial transparency between the wooden planks which shows the tile underneath it.

Edit: Setting the bridge tiles to terrain tag 0 produces the same problem, where the player can still face the bridge and be prompted to surf.

I just replicated this issue in a fresh version of essentials. I'll be reporting this in the bugs thread.

I guess you could fix your problem by creating another Water tile, which you set as non-surfable and put under your bridge.

That's what I ended up doing. Luckily I didn't have too many bridges to change, but it's still pretty inconvenient given the fact that there were no issues prior to updating.
