Thanks for giving me this team! I'm quite satisfied with the results despite really wanting to use a Gengar. Would have preferred a psychic weakness over no levitate ability. Chandelure is however one of my favourite Ghost Pokémon, it would be a disservice to all chandeliers if I didn't at least try. Might retry with a Golurk if I wipe.

- Arcanine is a resourceful and dependable Pokémon

Brave Frontier: This is a fearless Pokémon, so be sure to always leave scouting up to Arcanine and have him lead the party, as well as never flee from wilds.
Optional: Leaders should aspire to be wise. Wise Arcanine can only be taught special moves.

- Charizard is an essential member of Red's team as Dragonite will be to yours
- You can travel far and wide on its back

Mercy On Call: This Pokémon believes in a just and compassionate world, and is often defiant towards its trainer. As penalty for knocking out other Pokémon belonging to a gym leader or E4 member, Dragonite will withdraw from battle for the remainder of the match (So realistically, you can only use Dragonite once per gym/elite if you're planning on having it KO the opponent). When in a double battle, Dragonite will attack once any teammate that KOs an opponent.

- Unarguably resilient
- Fearow is the closest thing to the cormorant bird among flying types that I know of, but you my friend need coverage. Skarmory is now in an unique position as the Liver Gagana to help its teammates
- Slender, but fit and strong all the same

Cthulhu is Dreaming: This Pokémon is inexplicably terrified of water and enters a mild state of delusion when surrounded by it. For every surf area that you happen to cross, Skarmory will lose its will to fight until you land ashore.

These are your Special Missions, so beware!

- Ace ~~Attorney~~ Trainer: You must not avoid trainer battles and are obligated to fight every legendary available in your game. You must also walk by foot the entire game, bicycles are for the faint of heart (Cycling road is the exception to the rule).
- Respectable Figure: You have to talk to everyone you encounter, aiding in their quest and listening to their concerns. Mind your image by never selling any items.

Please forgive me if I've made up anything outrageous, and let me know if you dislike the team!

Thanks for the team, it's really something that I can work with. I also love the aspect of being a veteran of the "war" that Lt. Surge speaks of. I was wondering, since I have to generate a Skarmory to use, can I do the same for a Growlithe and a Dratini at the start of the game? I only ask because I don't get either until I reach at least Celadon City and it would be most convenient, and would probably make the most sense seeing as how Arcanine is supposed to be my team leader and Dragonite is my most important team member.

In addition to that, I have 2 concerns:

1. If Dragonite is supposed to be as integral to my team as Charizard's was to Red's team, does it really make sense that I can only use him once in my battles against Gym Leaders and the Elite Four?

2. Cormorants are aquatic birds. Doesn't seem to make much sense that Skarmory's completely useless over the water.

What better Canvas is there!? The world is brilliant in all it's colours. Though legends speak of a Rainbow coloured bird that exemplify all the colours, besides the thrill of adventure this is one of the few times you can get to enjoy nature as intented
