So...I thought of just making this to tell about the different Random Teams that I'd try to use to beat the different Pokémon games. Which I find fun and interesting since you never know what you're going to get and could possibly find a few new favorites.

For Pokémon Platinum I'm having a bit of trouble against Crasher Wake. Honestly thought it would be easier since I have a Luxio and Budew, but it turns out that I need to grind a bunch just to out speed most of his Pokémon. Along with Moneferno is suppose to evolve into a Infernape. So after that evolutionI'd have the full team which...isn't good, the same time it isn't bad. And for Pokémon Sword I'm at a point where I'm close to beating Piers, but I'm not sure who it'll go. Hopefully Blipbug can do something even though it is pretty weak.

So I was wondering whether or not I was going to be able to beat the dark gym which somehow I did. With some poison and critical hits it was manageable, however I ran out of moves for Toxapex so I thought I was going to have to use all my moves to struggle, but Mareanie and Swoobat helped out. The other three though are more of healers if anything. Mainly Blipbug cause of him being able to get one shot by anything. Now onto the dragon gym leader which is going to be...interesting.

And this challenge is almost over. It is just fighting the champion now which is both exciting, but nerve-racking since the Rose battle took a few times to beat him. However he did only have steel types which did make things harder, but it was also a level thing. So I'm hoping that I don't have to grind as much or at all. Nevertheless this run is almost to a close which mean another run, whether it be another random team or some other challenge, can be done. So expect the last update to this in a few minutes.

And I have finally finished the challenge!!! I honestly underestimated his team. It was to a point where I was using healing stalls which seems a bit cheap, but I didn't feel like grinding...But it feels great to finally have this challenge finished. I'd have to say though that this was somewhat manageable due to both Toxapex and Mareanie having Merciless as their abilities along with having Mareanie mainly being the Pokémon that sets up toxic spikes for their abilities. Though this was very fun to do and honestly makes me experience other Pokemons that I might not have used. But regardless...this was fun and it is off to the next challenge.

So picking up another random team! This time in Pokémon Silver which lets hope I can make it through. The real challenge might be if I choose to go against the Kanto region and battling Red which...I might consider doing if I can make it through Johto. Nevertheless this should be an interesting and fun challenge.
(P.S. I'm giving up the current Platinum run for now. More of halting/going to do it another time.)

So I didn't think I'd have to do a lot of grinding and switch training, but...Jigglypuff didn't learn an attacking move till level 9 which set things back a bit. But luckily I used Dark Cave as a grinding area for both Jigglypuff and Bellsprout.

And Bugsy was...a surprise really. I was thinking of having Jigglypuff use Disable once the Scyther used Fury Cutter. Though then I just started using Slowpoke in the gym to level him up and actually thought of using Curse to max out his Defense and Attack since he is already slower than everything in the gym. So when he sent out his Metapod I was hoping it was enough and surprisingly he did well. He took out the Metapod and nearly took out the Scyther. Though it was when Scyther missed the Fury Cutter is when I could actually do something. The last Pokémon out, Kakuna, was taken out with Bellsprout after a few Growths and Sleep Powder. Though this took around 3 attempts which were very quick.

And just like Bugsy, Whitney was a easy battle with Slowpoke. Honestly wouldn't have thought that after using a few Curses Slowpoke would be able to withstand Miltank. However it took two resets cause the first time her Clefairy got a Thunderpunch and Faint Attack. Second time she nearly took Slowpoke out with a critical hit. But I honestly am proud of Slowpoke now.

Well I had to do a bit of grinding since I couldn't get past Morty's Gengar. But after a little bit of time Slowpoke once again took the spotlight in taking out most of Morty's team! Honestly never imagined Slowpoke was this good and might use it a bit more than I have. Also I'm going to evolve Koffing into Weezing cause why not. Though before hand I got lost since I didn't see the gym at first and thought it was in a different town. So I ended up in Olivine and did the whole Light House. I then looked up where Morty was and felt like an idiot that I didn't even find the gym. But once I did...just I have the badge now and progressing to the next town. Though I think Slowpoke will ace that gym as well seeing that it is a fighting type gym. Just hope I don't have to grind too much. Though I will say for Nidoran F, grinding it up was easy due to route 37 or 38 with the Level 15 Stantlers. So that sped things up quite a bit so yay!

So I had to go back to Violet City cause I forgot to battle the Sprout Tower to get the TM Flash. So that took a bit of time to do and honestly was a bit of grinding for Koffing. Once battling I was shocked that one of the sage's Hoothoot survived a Tackle when there is a 10 level difference. But besides that I got the TM so time to head towards the next gym leader. I made Jigglypuff then learn Flash by replacing Pound. Mainly since Jigglypuff for me hasn't been doing much and is missing a ton and constantly being put to sleep so...Best thing to do for now and honestly might be a debuffer for the opponents. Though I had to go to the Lake of Rage to deal with Team Rocket first. But I'm not too scared cause once again Slowpoke. Team Rocket has quite a few Poison types that...Slowpoke is really the best thing against them. Then I realized....I don't even have Surf so I have to go back to Ecruteak City to beat the Kimono Girls. Though I did get a bit lost and somehow managed to find the person that has the TM for hidden power. Along with the TM for Detect. Once back at Ecruteak I took them out, however I got extremely annoyed with Sand Attack and the constant missing of moves. Regardless I got the TM for Surf so I can now battle the Red Gyarados and make more progress. I then teach Slowpoke Surf for both using it to surf around, but also giving it a more powerful water type move. I then go back to the Lake of Rage and battle Gyarados. And...OMG IT'S SHINY! First encounter shiny. What are the odds of that eh? I of course do the reasonable thing...try to faint it first, but that didn't go too well so instead I catch it. I then get the red scale for whoever wants it. I then go with Lance to defeat Team Rocket which I believe will be a very easy fight since most of their team is poison type so more grinding for Slowpoke. Though I do need to level up the rest of my team since they're a bit under leveled. Or at least I thought so..I didn't realize that I have to go all the way back to Mahoganny Town, but guess it is another trip. And...back to the statement of them having poison types...they do, but they also have Psychic types that resist Confusion. Along with most of the poison types out speeding Slowpoke so...not a great time as I thought. While battling a Scientist he threw out a Ditto which I responded to throw out Koffing since Slowpoke can one shot them. However it wasn't needed as the first move it uses was Self-Destruct. But soon after half an hour of doing this I beat team rocket and on to the gym leader! And.....I somehow am fighting Bryce? Did I skip the fighting gym leader or something? Cause...I feel like I have due to gym badge placement and all that. So...prepared myself for fighting types to only fight ice types. Uh whatever...firstly his Seel kept spamming Rest which got annoying so...fun. Then used Jigglypuff and Sang before I used roll out on Dewgong. Then finished him with Slowpoke Surfing his Piloswine.
