[ASM & Hex] Sprites not appearing in overworld

    So I'm having a strange problem. I'm trying to add a sprite where the chef is in the kitchen but when I save it, there's no overworld sprite. This happens no matter which overworld I use. Any ideas?

    If re-entering doesn't work, this happened to me too, and the problem was map corruption. I needed to make a clean map, copying the contents exactly, and it all worked fine.

    Check the map's level scripts. Perhaps the level script of the map has a line which hides a certain sprite, or if you don't wan't to do that, you can try changing chef's person event number.
