[Map] Black Screen when loading a map

After the Oak Speech in Fire Red, this happens.


I've dealt with this before, but that had to do with Replacing Maps in A-Map.
However, in this situation, I've only edited Pallet Town -- only the "outdoor" version of Pallet Town, I haven't done anything else.

EDIT After changing the starting position/map, I still encounter this error. Could it be because I modified the blocks?

Looks like something got repointed where it shouldn't. So do you spawn outside of a house instead of inside of one?

If you edit the starting location convert the map data to hex (The map number and map bank)
