Biden Administration plans to provide High-Speed Internet

Especially is areas of low income. It's very possible that high-speed internet could be made free, or have prices cut significantly for "qualifying customers". The plan is to reduce internet prices down to $30 a month, and certain families (potentially millions of Americans) can get a credit towards that monthly bill and end up paying nothing.

I can't help but see this as a positive. Especially for broke students living in disenfranchised places. Being able to finally have reliable, high speed internet access could really make an impact in education now that remote learning has become more acceptable.

Thoughts?

Sounds great. Welcomes more people with Internet access. Appreciates what the Internet has given over the years on a personal level. (Acknowledges some bad elements as well.) Is happy for more people being given that too.
