Pokedex Issues

hey it seems like no matter what i do i cant get the starting pokemon you choose to show up in the pokedex, im not using a regional dex just the national dex and my 3 starters are torchic treecko or mudkip but after you get the pokedex they dont show up, what am i doing wrong?

Are you sure you're not using any Regional Dexes, or do you just not want to use any? Check pokemon.txt - if there are any lines called RegionalNumbers=, then you've got Regional Dexes in your game. Delete all those lines and try again.

Remember to start a new game after doing so.
