5th Gen The Unova Travel Journal

All I really did today was train two new pokemon to add to the team, Seismitoad and Darmanitan. They are currently both about 5 levels away from evolving. They sort of replace Simisear and Tentacruel, but at the same time they sorta don't. It's hard to explain. For now I still consider all 8 of them "in the team".

Started White 3 days ago, just beat the game today.
Now what to do....

Currently at Castelia city.
Searching for Team Plasma.

I caught a female Mienfoo today and she already participated in her first Musical.

My Minccino and Elgyem (both female) also participated.

And another evolution, this time my Swadloon when he evolved into Leavanny!

I also did a few Rotation Battles with my Chandelure, Samurott and Gothitelle. Gothitelle gained a few levels, she's really starting to get strong despite being a girl!

I bought a Casteliacone and trained a lot.

I also used my Elgyem in the Musical again.

And another evolution. My Ducklett, she has evolved into Swanna!

More evolutions that happened again to finish off the day:

Trubbish > Garbodor

Vanillite > Vanillish

(Both are male)

And my female Watchog became a Musical Star!

I'm currently training my female Cubchoo, she's now at Level 31.

Update on my Pokemon Black Adventure

Another evolution this afternoon:

Cubchoo > Beartic

She also learned Icicle Crash, a move that will prove vital to her.

Yep, I was only raising her earlier and she's starting to get tough!

It took a lot of Audino and a Lucky Egg to do it.

Yesterday, I obtained Archen and trained him up right away!

Despite my hatred of his ability, he might do good for my team.

I taught him Acrobatics and he's sweeped a lot of Audino.

And today, this happened:

Evolution: Archen > Archeops

Caught a Vullaby

Training for the Elite Four (aiming to get my Pokemon to Level 50-60)

I've done a few more things this afternoon.

I caught a female Deino.

I also battled Trainers at Victory Road.

I'm doing excessive grinding so I can be at least in the Level 50-60 to take on the Elite Four.

I plan to raise my Deino into a mighty Hydreigon.

Frosty the Dewott Lv 34(Revenge, Focus Energy, Water Pulse, Aqua Jet)
I'm trying to get Frosty into a Samurott, and then exchange some heart scales for Megahorn!

Rosie the Swoobat Lv 35 (Confusion, Calm Mind, Air Slash, Fly)
I love Rosie. She's so wonderful. She has set up without much hassle and swept a few Plasma members.

Misty the Simisear Lv 35 (Bite, Yawn, Rock Tomb, Flame Birst)
Simisear hasn't changed her movepool as of late, but she still pwns - especially in Chargestone Cave - easy grinding.

Petulia the Cottonee Lv 36 (Growth, Leech Seed, PoisonPowder, Giga Drain)
Petulia is so fun to battle with. She's been a little bit more difficult lately, with some opposing Pokemon getting lucky with crits and hax - but she is still awesome and can cripple an entire party.

Pikachu the Scraggy Lv 36 (Sand Attack, Faint Attack, Brick Break, Hi Jump Kick)
Pikachu often wins battles, but he also loses them just as often because of Hi Jump Kick.

Hugh the Emolga Lv 34 (Volt Switch, Shock Wave, Acrobatics, Double Team)
Hugh, like Petulia, is so fun to use. <3 He's not very strong but I like using him anyway.

I will train up a Drilbur soon, maybe... As soon as I beat this gym, I am going to catch... AXEW!

I also went down to GAME today, and I got a... SNARLZARK! And I will be SR for a shiny! :3

I have just finished Pokemon Black. (I'm not kidding!)

It took me a total of 13 days (almost a fortnight!) but I have become a hero!

What I did today:

Defeated the Elite Four

Defeated N and Ghetsis

Caught Reshiram

Obtained the Super Rod and National Pokedex

I plan to meet all the Pokemon as part of my new journey!

I am secretly using my brother's DS to import Pokemon from my Gen IV games (without him seeing me, of course).

And yesterday, another evolution:

Deino > Zweilous (now she's 2 levels away from becoming Hydreigon!)

I did a few things in Black today.

Obtained Aerodactyl

Explored the Giant Chasm

Obtained an Oval Stone

My precious Samurott learned Ice Beam

Here's what I did on Day 20 of my Pokemon Black adventure:

I caught the following Pokemon:

Lunatone, Solrock, Golett, Shuckle, Druddigon, Cinccino x2, Bouffalant, Sneasel, Ditto, Shelmet and Stunfisk

I traded one of my Cinccino for the guy in Undella Town's Munchlax (nicknamed "Gorge"). I have since raised him into a Snorlax.

I evolved the following Pokemon:

Psyduck > Golduck

Cherubi > Cherrim

Luxio > Luxray

Bidoof > Bibarel

Azurill > Marill > Azumarill

Teddiursa > Ursaring

Kirlia > Gardevoir

I caught these Pokemon in the Poke Transfer:

Jolteon, Vaporeon, Flareon, Umbreon, Leafeon and Espeon (I transferred them from SoulSilver as I already have a Glaceon in Black)

I hatched these Pokemon from eggs:

Munchlax and Oshawott

And today, Day 21 I also did this:

Riolu evolved into Lucario

Well, first time posting in a while. Just bought White and have been playing it, and last time I played Pokémon I found these threads quite enjoyable, so here I am.

Just caught this guy, plan on tossing him in the PC when I get the chance.

So I just got the second badge, and am just levelling up my Woobat a bit before I enter the Pinwheel Forest to chase after Team Plasma. I don't really plan on keeping it, but I need a bit of variety, since right now my two strongest Pokémon are both Normal types, and my Drilbur will be weak to Fighting types as well once it hatches.

Other changes I plan to make to my party is to remove Herdier, and catch a Darumaka and an Emolga, while getting a Tirtouga from a fossil. I might also catch a Minccino.

Anyway, this isn't the first time I've played, though it's the first time I've ever used the Dream World function. To be honest, my biggest disappointment about the game is that I have to grow berries outside of it. I'm hoping that the next set of games restores berries back to in-game.

So I just got the third badge in Castelia City. I made sure to capture Ranga before attempting that gym, and thanks to him, I had no worries at all sweeping it. Seriously could not have been easier (the Lucky Egg I have helps a bit too though, haha). Also just beat that harlot Bianca, again with little trouble.

I went to the Dream World earlier, and got a Doduo for my troubles. It's really an annoying side feature, but since I love my berries, I have to do it aye? Not to mention all them extra Pokémon I can get there.

I think before I go any further along Route 4 I'll head back a bit to Pinwheel forest and capture any Pokémon I missed. By the way, as of right now my dex is at 35.

Not sure how I'll change my team. Does anyone have a better recommendation for an HM Slave? I want to add Sigilyph to my party but I don't want both that and Emolga. One of them will definitely replace Succi, that's for sure. I'm still definitely planning on acquiring Tirtouga, but I ain't so sure about Minccino. Maybe I'll leave that slot empty for now.

So yeah, any advice on my team would be appreciated.

Today I caught my first Gen V shiny.

It is Level 32, a male, timid and has technician. An all around good minncino. Caught on route 8, I nearly fell off my chair when I saw him appear. I dont want to evolve him into a cinncino though because well...

It aint that good. Its one of those shinies that dosent change much from the original

@Amachi - Drillbur, Deerling and Darumaka are some fo the best gen v pokemon. Tirtouga will be great. May I suggest a bug pokemon to fill in a slot. If you can trade escavalier would be great. Galvantula is also another good one. If thats too late then maybe backtrack to Pinwheel forest and catch a venipede. Scolipede is really fast and a hard hitter too.

Venipede > Whirlipede > Scolipede

Ferroseed > Ferrothorn

Dwebble > Crustle

Caught another Cinccino, might use her in Musicals.

I also caught a Klink.

Currently training a Vullaby.

Participated in Battle Subway with Samurott, Gothitelle, Cinccino and Ferrothorn (it was Ferrothorn's first Battle Subway run since her evolution).

hmm, I never even considered a bug Pokémon for the last slot, thanks man, I'll probably go with Galvantula. Thanks man.

Now have my fourth badge, and am just about to head on my way to Driftveil City over the drawbridge. Getting the fourth badge was easy as pie once I evolved Yoko, as both Earthquake and Rock Slide came very handy. In the past I had trouble with those Emolga, but I was quite overlevelled so I destroyed them easily.

Pretty soon a number of my Pokémon should be evolving, so I'm looking forward to that. Still not sure if I should keep Master in my party though (but it took me a fair while to even find one in the desert, so it's not like I want it all to be for nothing, haha). As I said earlier I'll be getting Galvantula, but I was thinking that I'd like a Dragon type in there, so we'll see.
