A friend of mine wanted to make a team of her favorite Pokémon. Her original team was terrible, so she and I talked it over and came up with the team below. Any changes in Pokémon I'll need to talk over with her. Any other changes are fine.

***"image removed" @ Choice Band; Clear Body
    Adamant; 152 HP, 252 Attack, 104 Speed
    Meteor Mash
    Earthquake
    ThunderPunch
    Explosion

"image removed" @ Expert Belt; Sand Stream
Naive; 216 Attack, 196 Speed, 96 Special Attack
    Stone Edge
    Crunch
    Fire Blast
    Ice Beam

    "image removed" @ Leftovers; Steadfast
    Adamant; 244 HP, 104 Speed, 160 Attack
    Psycho Cut
    Close Combat
    Hypnosis
    Will-O-Wisp

"image removed" @ Choice Specs; Natural Cure
Timid; 4 HP, 252 Special Attack, 252 Speed
    Leaf Storm
    Energy Ball
    Weather Ball
    Hidden Power (Fire)

"image removed" @ Leftovers; Thick Fat
Careful; 244 HP, 236 Special Defense, 28 Defense
    Body Slam
    Fire Blast
    Sleep Talk
    Rest

*pokemonelite2000 image removed* @ Leftovers; Sand Veil
    Impish; 252 HP, 252 Defense, 6 Attack
    Earthquake
    Aerial Ace
    Stealth Rock
    Roost

    ***Leader

Fix 1: Tyranitar's Nature was changed from Adamant to Naive.
Fix 2: Moved 28 EVs from Snorlax's Special Defense into Defense.
Fix 3: Snorlax was redone to support Curse.
Fix 4: Snorlax was reverted to the original Rest and Sleep Talk build, this time with Fire Blast to help against Skarmory.
Fix 5: Roserade forgot Sludge Bomb in favor of Energy Ball.
Fix 6: Looking for a suitable replacement for Tyranitar.
Fix 7: Metagross now holds a Choice Band and has Explosion over Agility.

For T-tar there's no use of giving him a nature that lowers two of his attacks. So replace fire blast with earthquake and ice beam for maybe dragon dance? And get rid of the spatt evs and max out att and spd and remainder goes in hp.

Ah, I overlooked that. Thanks. I'll change the Nature.

this team lack a cleric a phazer and a spinner

This team really doesn't need a Spinner unless you're paranoid of Spikes. And with the Fire Blast on Tar nailing Skarm and Forry they won't be a problem.

Seems like a decent team. I would put more Def on Snorlax.

or even just curselax would do

How much more, and from where?

From SDef, but I wouldn't put too much since it's the other half of your special walling. Just make it a little more balanced so it can take a few more physical hits.

Or make it Curselax. Curselax is good.

Will Snorlax's new EV spread work, do you think?

I'm not so sure about the Curse build here. Wouldn't I be putting more EVs on Defense than on Special Defense with that, and thus be losing my special wall?

    Snorlax@leftovers
    evs: 76HP / 44ATK / 136DEF / 252SP.DEF
    Careful nature
    - Body Slam
    - Earthquake / Fire Punch / Crunch
    - Rest
    - Curse

I really really hate this thing, its frikking ridiculous if you dont have a phaser even then it wrecks common ones such as Skarm with Fire Punch.

Body Slam gets STAB and for Parahax

Earthquake for T-Tar.Fire Punch for Skarm and Crunch for Ghosts . All work, its up to you in that slot.

    Rest is for healing-ness

Curse to make you uber in both defensive departments.

EVS allow you to take Focus Blasts and Aura Spheres and other ridiculously powerfull sp.atts.

I see. It's a special wall that becomes a mixed wall. Interesting.

I'll talk to my friend (this team's for her, not me), and see if she's OK with it.

And finally, this is a bump. I've rebuilt Snorlax to support Curse as well.

How many times must you bump this to realize nobody has much else to say? >.>

Well, I like to contradict myself, so I'll say what I wanted to say O_o

Snorlax needs less curse and more Sleep Talk. Curselax is really meh this generation, and I mean REALLY meh. ResttalkLax is far more sturdy and a better Choice IMO.

IMO, Metagross needs less Shuca Berry and more choice band (yeah, Agiligross isn't what it used to be either, and CBgross has always been better.) Over agility, Explosion. CB explosion will KO anything that doesn't resist it and a lot of stuff that resists it anyways.

Replace Weather ball or sludge bomb on roserade for energy ball. Leaf Storm as your only grass move will prove unreliable.

TTar has to go. Snorlax has enough trouble walling this gen, taking its leftovers recovery doesn't help. While it helps some pokemon, others are really hurt by it. You'll want to replace TTar.

BTW, you'll want to switch Snorlax's EVs around a bit to fit the resttalker role. Eh, I got them from Smogon...unlike a few Smogon EV spreads, it works quite well.

Seriously though, your team can't hurt Skarmory amazingly well. Roserade doesn't like taking brave bird switching in, and excess damage from sand stream (and probably SR as well as this team lacks a spinner) will hurt. TTar really needs replaced, so that is invalid (not to mention Tar can be stalled and defeated, and Skarmory now runs rampant).

Also, nothing on this team can take status, even snorlax taking a turn to rest it off can be annoying. WoW will torch you pretty bad. Any Gengar that induces WoW and/or hypnosis will be the end of you.

    That's what I saw >.>

I bump it when my friend asks me to. It's her team, not mine.

That's what it was originally, actually. I'll change it back.

It would need more Speed, then. All right.

Most likely Sludge Bomb. Weather Ball is too versatile to let go.

TTar has to go. Snorlax has enough trouble walling this gen, taking its leftovers recovery doesn't help. While it helps some pokemon, others are really hurt by it. You'll want to replace TTar.

As this is my friend's team, I'll have to ask her what to do with Tyranitar. She might want to get rid of Snorlax instead and use a different wall that can work in a sandstorm.

Again, this is my friend's team. I'll have to ask her what to do about which Pokémon to use.

What do we do about that? It's not like we can use Dewgong well here.

    That's what I saw >.>

All right. Give me a few minutes to fix Snorlax. My friend won't come on until later.

For that last questionqn Aromatherapist may work well.

If she's willing to rebreed Roserade (I like saying that. Roserade.) it can use Aromatherapy quite well, but it will cut back on sweeping power. You call.

Well, if we're replacing a Pokémon, it would make sense to make the replacement able to use Heal Bell or Aromatherapy. Roserade isn't exactly good on Defense and Special Defense, so I'd probably get one Aromatherapy before she faints.

Look at Roserade again. You might be mistaken about her sp.def. It's quite high. She's no wall (with her low HP) but she can take a few SP.hits before falling.

Plus, she's fast enough to guarentee a Therapy before fainting if she's low on HP. Pretend your Glalade was your last poke who can turn the match around. But he's burned. A speedy therapist might help.

Regardless, replacing is a better idea. Who are you planning on losing?

She's not here yet, so I haven't asked her. I also have to go to hell...err, I mean an appointment with my therapist in a few minutes, so she might be here when I get back. Anti-Pop Culture Warrior 13 had strongly suggested that we lose Tyranitar, since Sand Stream doesn't work well with Snorlax.

He is absolutely right on Sandstream & Lax. Unlike Blissey, who had HP to spare, Lax needs the recovery from Leftovers. The sand makes him lose the exact amount of health that Lefties regenerates. Thereby negating it.

If she approves, we could just replace Snorlax with Blissey.
