Pokemon Iolite

This is the same story as Fire Red, with some added features that will be listed below. You can also visit some cities and towns in Johto and Hoenn and go to some beta GSC towns and caves that Nintendo didn't include in those games. More features to come, or they are already listed below.

New stuff.

Spoiler:

- New Overworlds and Trainer Sprites(of Heros only, for now)
The male and female trainers now have a blue and white themed wardrobe. I'm working on editing the backsprite in battle too and once I get that done I'll post it.

- Remapped Kanto Towns and Cities
They are/are going to be remapped as they would maybe be years later, with places moved, added houses and buildings (EXAMPLE the really small school in Viridan is now a big high school), also the center and mart are all in one place now with the sign saying whatever town and it's motto
- Go to some of Hoenn and Johto
You can go to some places in Hoenn and Johto, obviously. Not the whole regions though, because of space on the rom(which everyone should know). I probably will post a poll asking what else I should add besides what I already have(Olivine, Slateport, Ecruteak, Some Johto Routes)
- Go to Johto beta towns
I'm guessing you guys should like this. I'm remapping the beta maps of towns that were tossed in GSC. I've mapped two so far. I also made/am making connections between them from scratch.
-"Warp Rooms"
I might toss this feature later down the road. Their buildings that include a bunch of warps that most of them, lead to the wrong place. One of them goes to another town or region. It seemed like a good idea to go to Hoenn from Kanto and back, but I just don't really like them anymore. If I get requests to keep them, I will. Their just in there for now to explore what I've mapped of the other regions in the first few releases. If I decide to come up with a team, or when i learn how to script I'm going to have an event to go to other regions(like a boat or magnet train)
- "Link Centers"
I just came up with this recently, and haven't implemented it. I might add buildings on some routes where you can go in and link games, like in the upstairs of centers. Or, just get rid of the upstairs and put it in towns with centers too. I'm not sure about this one yet.

well i'm doing mapping but I want/need a scripter at some point so I'll keep that in mind.

Reminds me of an idea I had a while ago...
Are you going to insert new tiles / change the palettes? Just the original FireRed one's get boring. =/
Also, you said it'll have the same storyline of FireRed? Could you perhaps change that a least by a bit? Perhaps some side-quests / new evil team or something? Just the the original Nintendo storyline's get boring. =/

I'm playing around trying to test some tiles out. I've had a few problems inserting test tiles so I'll prob do it sometime down the road.
I have like 1 sidequest just for now in a fairgrounds I added to one of those beta towns. The storyline and all will be changed a bit too as once as I get a team. I'll add scripters to the list later. I'm only doing beta testers for now, but I'll keep you in mind too.

good lol. i didn't think the overworld changes on the female are as noticeable as on the male, but i still liked it

Yeah, their just the original fire red tiles, i didnt change them. I want to change the tiles at some point, but not at the moment.

ok thanks just check back to the thread. I'll do a lot more work on this later, but I'm working on my other hacks for now so work on this has slowed. And I'm making a new thread for my other hack right now lol. So work is kinda slowed for now.
