    POKEMON: SHINING PLATINUM

    Hack of: FireRed
    Name: Pokemon Shining Platinum

    Introduction
    You may know me, you may not, I am altariaking. I started hacking last November and have been getting batter and better. This will be my second hack, as my first is on hold until I finish this.

    Story
    Two pokemon battled, Darkrai and Cressellia, for the sake of humanity. Their attacks, fired at the same time, happened to hit a shiny shinx, who absorbed the attack and became powerful. Darkrai and Cresselia dissappeared, and the shinx was captured by team galactic, who plan on using it to create a new world, and bring arceus to earth to help them.

    The rest is dppt story, but with some twists :)

    those maps of twin leaf town- add some flowers or something, dont go for how it looks in the d/p game, be original in the maps.

    will you have all things like at platinum?i mean the ds stuff like the underground ways or the torn world?

    yea, the maps will be edited slightly, i always felt dp twinleaf was a bit bare

    thanks, i may have it so you can go underground with a certain tm, but as for the torn world, i've got something better planned ;)

    3 things I need to tell about this hack:

    1. This is basically a D/P/Pt remake with some twists.
    ~ If that so then I'm not a follower. Good luck with that.

    2. Maps are plain and very bland.
    ~ I know you will change the mapping but its really plain.

    3. Palettes are, well, bland.
    ~ I know you're using a rombase but its really bland and too many bland green.

    That's it.

    Ok then, goodluck with the hack. Probably gonna keep an eye out on this one though 'cause you have all caps on your title.

    And one sidenote: If I use the strikethrough tag, I'm being sarcastic. /offtopic
     
    Wow a Platinum Remake. I always want to play 4th generation Pokemon on GBA. Please don't Stop this hack untill it finish. Hope you finish it soon. Good luck...

    the LOMBRE
    three things
    why is it so weak
    and why is it there at a early stage in the game
    and Why is it still in capitals?
     
    Let me give my two cents. First screenshots and then storyline.

    1) Why are you fighting a level 2 Lombre?
    2) I think you should make your own sprites not the D/P/Pt sprites. That makes you seem lazy.
    3) You should decapitalize Pokémon.
    4) You should change the hero's sprite.
    6) You should decapitalize mild and none.
    7) The map looks bare.
    8) The map looks bare, and Pokémon should have a capital P, and a ' above the E.
    9) The tiles look over used.

    The storyline seems bare. You should make a game taking place in Sinnoh years before or after the real games, or taking place at the same time.

    All these criticisms are un-needed :\ he already stated the Lombre was to show off the sprite, and it's HIGHLY unreasonable to tell him to 'make your own sprites' when he is inserting DPPL Pokémon! Why don't YOU go make all those sprite for him yeah?

    Also, it's obviously in it's beginning stages and he said he is only at the start of decapitalising.

    Hero and Tile sprites are always subject to change during a hack :\

    I like the add on to the story, it kind of makes it like an alternate platinum in a way (different main legendary but similar story?) however it would be nice to see it more prominent, and less of the DP story, maybe make kind of an alternative time line from a certain event .

    Also the legendary Pokémon should probably be Luxray? A shiny Shinx is nice and all but a shiny Luxray would look more dangerous and valuable for an evil team ;).

    and people dont have too make there own sprites tbh

    and yea, but a luxray should be able to fight back with ease, but a shinx would still be in it's earliest stage, and wouldn't really understand what was going on.
    i have decided to put the shiny shinx in the orenbourgh mine, where there will also be a surprise visit from certain freaks that think they're buzz lightyear.

    oh, and the shiny shinx will also have higher stats than normal. it isn't exactly a legendary, but it's stats are close legendaries.
    also, it will play major parts in the story.
