It's ok...but it has A lot of cut up shading...and you really don't have a light source

You see in the first one his belly has a light spot and his face has a light spot when it's facing the other direction. It looks unnatural, the way you shaded it

    Look here
Pixelart... (Which still counts as a sprite. >>;;)

I've circled where light seems to be shining. It makes it seem that there are multiple light sources around, let's call the treecko...Piccaso, well poor piccaso seems to have many lights shining on him. it's unnatural and that makes the shading incorrect :/

you shouldn't have multiple light sources, or it'll look a bit strange..
if you have one light source coming from a certain direction, then it will look more natural,

see.. like.. when you have shading on the left side of the belly, it shows that the light is coming from the right..
but theres shading on the right side of the face, which means the light is coming from the left....
you have two different light sources and not a main defined one..
@@ can you understand? (im confusing)

also, try to make the light source 'shape' the picture..
    like...
there wont be a light spot under it's arm because there's shadow..
and also, the eyes look a bit flat..
    you should colour it like...
    dark-medium-light-medium-dark
so that it looks more 3D..
it's hard to explain.. but it's like looking at a shaded sphere..
it's usually darkest around it's edges...

other that that i think it's amazing :3
awesome proportions, and great colour matching :33
    keep up the awesome work!!
    and i hope i wasn't too harsh @@....

Yeah I think it is more of a pic too, so I will get a mod XD and I also agree with Kura that you shouldn't have multiple light sources. *calls mod*

Ah... oh well. >_> The reason why I use more than one light source is because for some reason, it never looks shaded enough.

Er... it's PIXEL art, but move it if you want. >_>

maybe you should just add more shades instead of more light sources..
like, instead of just dark, medium, light
    add more ..
darkest, darker, dark, medium, light, lighter, lightest..
but dont overdo it, or it'll take away from the actual design
    :33 your pictures are really good though and i suggest keeping at it ^^;;
the more you practise, the better you get :3

I think you did the Treeko great! it was drawn nicley (no point in talking about the shade/lighting considering it was already corrected ^^;; )

It's skin seems a little unsmoothe what you might want to use is the curvey line: it's next to the straight line on paint (if that's what you used) If you redo all the lines and replace them with the curvey ones Treeko's skin will look more smoothe. Anyway great job! You must have put a lot of effort into it! ^_^
