You all like vocaroos, right? Putting your voice out into the endless bounds of the internet, showcasing whatever accent you may have! Fun, isn't it? In this thread, we're gonna harness that interest to make a story. A story worthy of being in the annals of world history, quoted by the bourgeois and the proletariat alike! Or not. Maybe we will come together to make something worth less than the toilet paper it was written on. You decide!What are we doing?
You're making a story, that's what! Not only that, but a story following a relevant theme. Instead of typing it out, you're going to use your own voice to post in here. The power of dramatic license is in you! I will post the opening vocaroo and the theme for you all to follow - hopefully you will take the opportunity being given and make magic! When marz or myself feel that enough time has passed, one of us will make the closing vocaroo and end that specific story. We will then, allowing for possible mistakes given the nature of the event, type up each vocaroo and collate it into the story for all to read. Should this event prove to draw interest, there will be another story to make and a different theme to follow.Guidelines
- This thread is a vocaroo-only thread! Text should only be used for clarifying things. But if you want to provide a text version of what you spoke, that's fine. Just so long as it's in a spoiler.
- We're telling a story! Each post is connected! As such, you need to listen to the previous person's post (or other posts, if you want) and follow from where they left off. At the very least, keep to the theme.
- Please do not double post! Let other people shape the story!
- Being silly is fine. We just ask that you not stray too far from the path and go off on a tangent or be completely nonsensical.
- All vocaroos need to be understandable and within the limits of the PC rules, obviously. We also ask that you keep them to a maximum of two minutes per vocaroo, but you can go a bit over so long as you are tidying it up.
- Any reference to PC/PC members will initially not be allowed. Mainly because it is, well, uncreative and we want to see what you're capable of! But if this event proves popular, there may be a theme where you can talk about PC to your heart's content.
- I don't plan on there being an emblem, but if there is significant desire for one, I will consider making one to give to all involved.
- Any questions can be directed at marz or myself, just not in this thread as we'd prefer it clean as possible. We'll post if we need to make something clarified to all.
