Hey there, people. As we all know, there was this one challenge run as a part of Get-Together 2019. However, not everyone got to finish their runs by the time GT had ended, so it will be up to the challengers whether they wanna finish it. As for myself, I'd like to record mine here, thus making this my first non-String Hexalocke documented run here. I won't record the outtakes I had during the event, though.
Anyway, when it comes to the rules, I am to roll them from this list (excluding global rules which were rolled during the event) :
None of the rules were made by me btw. Instead, it was Janp and ddrox13 who made those rules. I thank them for this one.
That being said, here are what I had done during the event:
Part 1
Part 2

Part 4
That's all for now, folks. Enjoy. 😊

Part 1
Spoiler:
New rules:
I started to play FireRed as a boy. His name is Kou and his rival is Regulus. Kou started with Malva the female Charmander (what luck, given how rare female starters are). She immediately got some companions: Bea the female Mankey and Clemont the male Pikachu (very fitting for a Team Pikachu member like me). As expected from someone with a type super-effective to rock, Bea soloed Brock big time here. Here's my team as of Brock:
And here's my proof of defeating Brock (I snapped this sometime after reaching Mt. Moon, though) :
Spoiler:
- The best detective in the world (Put Pikachu, Pikachu clone (including Marill line), Eevee or Eeveelution on your team. It must stay there for the rest of the game)
- GLOBAL RULE - Ground Barrier (You can no longer use Ground-type Pokémon or moves for the rest of the game)

Spoiler:
New rules:
Thanks to the reverse-ban (ground-type was previously banned), I had to reshuffle the team. Not without fighting trainers before the first patch of grass in Route 3 though. That, and I actually love all the crits from my team at this point. 😭
Anyway, before entering Mt. Moon, Kou managed to grab the Nidoran duo. His name is Clay (eventually will become a Nidoking) and her name is Plumeria (eventually will become a Nidoqueen). In return, he had to box Malva and Bea for this part. And now that Kou's in the cave, he also got Hapu the female Geodude as well as Plumeria's and Clay's evolutions into Nidorina and Nidorino respectively.
Upon reaching Cerulean City, he got to fight his rival (Regulus) and Misty there. During his fight against Regulus:
And here's his team as of now:
Spoiler:
- The killing weapon - You can only use Physical attacking moves for this segment. (No Status or Special moves.)
- GLOBAL RULE - Switcheroo (You can now only use banned types and no other (dual types are the only exception). If no type is currently banned for you, you can only use Dark and Poison-types from now.)

- Hapu took his Pidgeotto out
- Clay handled his Squirtle somehow
- Plumeria took care of both his Abra and Rattata (could've let Clemont to deal with Abra, but idk if he can even battle under the reverse-ban rule)
- Misty's type specialty was way too dangerous for Hapu
- Clemont's best move was a special attack at this point and the rule specifically states "physical attacks only at this segment"

Part 3
Spoiler:
New rule: Captured! (You have to box your whole team for this segment and can only use Pokémon caught after this rule was applied)
Okay, my current rule demands a reshuffle on Kou's team (sans Clemont who has to be there all the time). With Clemont as his only partner, Kou visited Bill at Sea Cottage, helped him with whatever thing he was stuck with, and got a ticket for S.S. Anne. The two also made a journey through Vermillion City and made friends with two Diglett: the male one who's nicknamed Shingen and the unnicknamed female one for HM buddy. Kou then explored S.S. Anne and fought Regulus again there. During this fight, Clemont took on his Pidgeotto and Wartortle while Shingen handled his Kadabra and Raticate. As Regulus left, Kou helped the seasick captain who thanked him with HM Cut.
And then there's Lt. Surge whom Shingen dealt with (almost) single-handedly. I said "almost" because Clemont was only there to reset Shingen's reduced defense stat (kinda breaking the 4th wall here). That being said, here's the new badge:

New rule: In the disguise (You can only use Pokémon listed as Black and/or Red in Pokédex for this segment. No type ban applies on them)
Awright, this part is quite a long trek for Kou. He only can use either red or black Pokemon, so it's a "welcome back" for Malva. During the hunt for new friends, she evolved into Charmeleon. The hunt itself gave these to Kou:
As for Erika, her team were taken care of by Hau, Viola, and Malva. Hau fought her Victreebel, Viola dealt with her Tangela, and Malva literally set her Vileplume on fire, earning Kou his fourth badge:
