    Hello! I'm David, my wife's Ali, and we're stuck inside our New York apartment during the outbreak of COVID 19. So, we decided to pass our time by playing a Nuzlocke! Ali has never played Pokemon Blue, and there's no game that's quite as homey to me, so that's what we're doing. This is part Nuzlocke, part log of what life is like right now. So in between pokemon battles, we'll be talking about how we're feeling, what's happened in the news, and then we're going to yell about 8 bit creatures and button pushing.

    Our rules are pretty basic, with one little extra one for the quarantine!

    1. We must nickname every pokemon so we get attached.
    2. We can only catch one pokemon per named area.
    3. If a pokemon faints, we can no longer use it.
    4. If a pokemon gets poisoned, we may finish using it in the current battle, but then we must box it until we reach a Pokemon Center we have not yet been to. We must practice social distancing!

    So, with that all being said, please enjoy our first episode, and our new intro!

     
    With Brock out of the way, it's time for us to work our way to Mt. Moon. Even if we are not equipped with legwear that is both comfy and easy to wear. Side note: NYC cases have tripled since we started filming four days ago. This project is making us keep track of the numbers, and there's a lot to be deeply concerned about.

     
    With Mt. Moon conquered but our most powerful player in quarantine, we've gotta buff up our team a bit! That means a new catch, a new evolution, and a lot of grinding. And that grinding gives us a chance to go in depth on our corona quarantine log, what's up in the news, and how we're feeling right now. Not gonna lie, we get real this episode. We're nervous, man.
