How do I get my hands on a shinny Mew?!?!?

I apologise in advance for any inconvenience but Shiny Mew is not allowed to be traded within this community due to the only instance of legitimately obtaining one is by soft-resetting an almost twenty year old Event back on Emerald. For this event, you had to be in Japan to retrieve the Old Sea Map for it's encounter. This rule is implemented to help in deterring the trade of hacked Pokémon.
