Hi everyone. I'm Tyrannicus...no relation to Tyranitar.
Bad jokes aside, I've been actively reviewing the site for quite some time as a non-member. When I began to realize that the PokeCommunity Forums had become my only destination for poke'rom' associated literature, I decided it might be high time to come aboard.
Without revealing my age in too much detail, I have been playing Pokemon since the first red/blue cartridges came out. I worked in the electronics department of a retailer called 'Zellers' at the time, and got the inside scoop of its initial release in a logistics magazine we used to receive monthly...advising us of all incoming electronic hardware and software. When I read the description of what the gameplay was all about, I knew this was the game for me. What I never knew was just how insanely popular the game would get over time.
As with the majority of amateur pokegamers, I've played all gens (except latest...don't have a switch), and take lengthy breaks in between. But Pokemon is that kind of game that keeps drawing me back periodically, and when I get back into it during those periods...I REALLY get into it...lol.
Anyways, I'm really happy to now become a part of the forum, and I look forward to a long and healthy friendship with the community.
