Shortly after the christening of a few promising jonin, an unlikely team of misfit veterans successfully infiltrated the depths of the voids spawned by the amulet of darkness, shattering the artifact and rescuing the leaders of the ninja world. Peace quickly returned to the world; the kage returned to their posts; and the people, no longer under threat by otherworldly monsters, returned to their daily lives as if nothing happened in the first place.
