Volcarona's the most beautiful bug to me. I like the idea of this fire fly/moth that represents the sun, and provided a source of light and warmth to pokemon and people in times of need. Until gen 8 I think Volcarona's typing was one of a kind. It's signature move fiery dance is also really strong and cool. 80 base power, 100% accurate and 50% chance to raise your special? Definitely!

Fun fact, I thought Volcarona was alegendary Pokemon when I encountered it post game in Pokemon Black, and saw it was a stationary encounter.

yay I wasn't the only one xD

I found a shiny larvesta once while dexnav chaining for a shiny darmanitan. I left it a larvesta because I was synchronized at the time to get a jolly darmanitan, so it made the larvesta also jolly. This is okay for larvesta since it's a physical mon, but Volcarona is special so I would rather it be modest or timid. I did end up getting another shiny larvesta from a friend, they traded it to me, and I gave them a shiny pumpkaboo I think in return. This one will become a shiny Volcarona. That light gold-winged shiny Volcarona has isn't bad at all!

Out of these I like Shedinja the most. One of my favorite ghost types in general
