Eh, I only use it for contests, since most normal types are not useful in battle, though mine is on about level 50, so it's useful too. I think you can go either way.

Well, I always sell my TM's for extra cash so I really never have them.

By the way, what do you think is the best moveset for Furret?

- Shock Wave

I don't really know why I asked that, seeing as I don't give a crap what my pokemon learn other then my starter.

But I will see how effective that is by taking two Furret's and giving one the moveset you chose and another one still un-decided.
