Welcome to my new gallery! Yay! Hopefully this one won't be as... dead?

1) Made for a request. not my favorite, but I can't say I dislike it. (TEXT SUCKS T_T)

2) Made for my sig. I really like the smudging I did there, colors are kinda bland, but meh.

3) Made a tut out of this! ^.^ Lots of space stocks and the like. (TEXT SUCKS AGAIN T_T)

4) Yes, I was bored. I do kinda like it though.

Two words for every single one of them: Too blurry.

xDD It's probably your smudge settings, but I think you'll want a few that you can sharpen and vary the colors with for awhile, because right now with your tags I'm seeing WHOOSH -insert color-.

Like number one. WHOOSH PURPLY BLUE.
Like number two. WHOOSH ORANGE.
Number three- again, WHOOSH PURPLE.
And four even, WHOOSH GRAYISH PINK.

The Lelouch one is the only one that gets anywhere close to breaking your monotonous palette, which naturally makes it the best, but... Lelouch is purple. Your effects are ALL orange. D: What am I trying to say? You could've fit in some subtle purple effects in there SOMEWHERE. DDDD:

With effects and lighting, I think you've mostly got it down. But what's really takin' you down is your color palette, which needs to expand. xD

Colors, and depth. I will be so impressed if you can give me those two, along with everything you've got now. ;D
Oh yeah, and at the end, I suggest applying the image and sharpening it or something to that extent, because every tag up there needs a sharpen filter. xD Bad.

Colors are one of my... weak points. i'll be sure to work on it.

I like them! =D Though, they are a bit bland in color. Like, they don't have different colors other than one. Some of them have a bit too much space I guess. [/Raiden forced me >.>]

5) Made for my Graphic Shop. It's okay I guess, I'm not a huge fan of it.

6) My (fail) attempt at CT's Smudge tutorial. Those setting just did not work v.v

7) Made because of BOREDOM. And because I just started Chobits. I think it's a tad oversharpened, but maybe it's because I'm breaking the blurry habit.

8) Tried following Loki's advice. (Did it work?)

Ermmmmmmmmmm.

Okay I have another suggestion. xD; Start over from scratch in terms of blurring. Like, make a tag. Don't blur it. Like. Anywhere. xD;;

The Chii one is what prompts me to say this, because you've blurred her in all the weirdest places, and that really throws off your depth. I can see that you're working on your colors in this one- because heaven forbid, there's more than one color! :D But um, the sharp-blurry-sharp of the focal just makes the whole thing really low quality. And the background effects are pretty, but.... plain. And oversharpened. Okay so things FARTHEST away from you should be blurry. AKA: the stars. Things CLOSER to you should be sharper. AKA: EVERYTHING about and on top of Chii. Including her hair. <_<;

And maybe the png itself was just low quality. D:


Black Rock Shooter huh? Well, the scanlines help with the flow, and I don't really mind them, but the opacity needs to go down. Also, the whole thing is just blended... way too much. Like, it's over done. I see your smudge settings, and like I said before: Trash them. Dx They make everything look blurry and they don't look good when you sharpen them. Dx I dunno though, with the settings it's more style oriented, so maybe I just don't like your style? D:



Other than the colors though, I like #6. :I

Those setting just did not work v.v

I'm sorry it "didn't work" but I specifically told everyone in the tut that it's better to learn styles, and techniques from tutorials rather than just going off of the exact settings I gave. Those settings are what looked good specifically for my stock, and apparently not for yours. So don't say my settings didn't work, they work, just not for every stock and render in existence.

I dunno, I like number 5 (besides the text). I think its cool lookin >.<
