Yesh, the first one is a Death Note thing.
And I'm not even a fan of Hellsing.. or is it Trigun? No idea. -w-
 
Clouds + Extrude (any settings, try 10 for the block size and 60 for the other box, can't remember what the other box says)

Hmm, that's a pretty interesting effect.
For cool-ish borders, place on the border and then 'Layer-Layer Style-Blending Options' and then in the drop-down menu for general blending, click0rz ze option of 'Overlay'.
Also, you can try doing Radial Blur and selecting 'Zoom' in the options, zooming into a bit that you want to accentuate, and then 'Edit- Fade Radial Blur...' and fade it. That subtly makes the bit you want to accentuate attract more attention. :D
Hellsing, then. That anime looks... frightening.

How long have you been online, Solian-san? You made that post about seven hours ago and you're still online... :D So how are you? And your work?
 
I go on and off, sometimes I just leave the computer on. I'm fine-ish, I guess. I think I'm going to get ahead on work tomorrow. But this is your club, I should be asking how you are. So, how are you? XD
 
Fine. I'm going to get a flu shot and I'm not looking forward to it in the least, but otherwise fine. I've began a drawing of L since today's his b-day, +w+. I also played a bit of piano this morning.
Would I be correct in assuming it's around 10:00 PM-ish where you are at the moment? Rough estimate.
 
Flu Shots seem to hurt more than normal ones, but I've gotten used to them. I didn't have to take one this year though. I wish I could find the time to draw, I'm just too busy this year, or lazy. Actually, it's almost 12:00AM. It's 11:42 right now.

When I get a new anime I tend to go overboard and finish it within a week or so, XD. Darker than Black is next on the list, but OHHC is fun, :D.
