Oh I can tell you some of the episodes that Arcanine & Growlithe are in -
On Cloud Arcanine, (The) Case of the K9 Capers!, The Stolen Stones!, Extreme Pokemon and I think there are others but I can't think of them sorry ^^" x.x

If I recall correctly, I think Jenny had one in the AG series. (Or was that the Johto series? XD) Forgive me if I'm wrong. But yeah, Growlithe and Arcanine would make great police dogs. They'd be great for sniffing out and decting thing, and they're always alert.
