Erm, the clauses..
Basically, do you have to include them in your battle?
Or is there certain in which you can, and certain in which you can't?

They're just there so people know about them. You don't have to use them. However, it would be a good idea to mention whether or not you're including certain ones when you make your thread, as people WILL ask you whether or not you're using certain ones if you don't say anything about them (Uber clause, item clause, Legendary clause, etc). Also, some of the "higher-level" trainers will tend to look down on you if you use Ubers and/or Legendaries.
