Part One of Two: First Person

Lilith. Liiiiiiiiiiilith. Can you hear me, sweetie.

Am I dreaming?

Liiiiiiiilith.

I hear you, I hear you. But, who are you?

I am your guardian, Liiiiiiiilith. I'm able to talk to you through telepathy~

OK, so you're my "guardian". But, what's your name?

I am Shaaaaymin, the Gratitude Pokemon. Surely you've heard of meeeeeeeee.

I have. But why are you interrupting my dream? Am I in great danger or something? Don't tell me...the maids in my house are gonna kill me in my sleep?!

Noooooo silly Liiiiiilith, I'm taaaaaalking to you becaaaaaause you're a chooooooosen one.

What do you mean by that?

Only time will teeeeeeeeeeell. Good niiiiiiight, Liiiiiiiiilith.

Wait! I want to know more! Come back! Come baaaaaaack!

~x~

Part Two of Two: Third Person

"What a strange dream, eh, Rose?" She had explained to her Salamence the peculiar event that went on in her dream last night. Her Salamence was the only one she could trust at this point. No one else. She blamed her paranoia, and though she knew she was indeed paranoid, she decided to do nothing to make it go away. She wasn't your average female. While most girls would swoon over a handsome-looking guy, Lilith herself would run away in fear he might taunt her for reasons unknown. And, while none of the maids in her home ever stole anything or killed anyone, Lilith had reason to be suspicious of them, as if they were up to something vile, whatever it may be.

"Liiiiiiilith~! Breakfast tiiiiiime!" The similarity in word extension caught Lilith by surprise. But she remembered her mother always stretched her words out whenever she talked in a cheery tone. Lilith also recalled her mother speaking like a total illiterate whenever she was angry. "You no shall defy me!" "I your mother, listen at me! Look to me!" That was pretty much how Lilith recognized her mother to be her mother, biological or not. Her father was, well, short on words. He'd nod and grunt to acknowledge someone's appearance, and would occasionally say three words at most to form a somewhat complete sentence, if he ever spoke. Her siblings, on the other hand, were very lively and energetic, quite the opposite from their father. The younger sister, Lucia, got most of her looks from her mom. Her twin, Lucifer, got his from his father.

Despite the craziness that was her family, Lilith still lived in one of the richest places of all time, with her parents being some of the most famous in the whole entire world. Her twin siblings were even famous, both conquering the Elite Four in various regions. It sickened Lilith to think about it. While she had traveled through Orre to train her Pokemon, her twin siblings were off conquering Pokemon gyms and winning battles one by one. Someday, I'll do just what they did, only better.

As she seated herself down for breakfast, her mother giddy as usual, one of the head maids ran up to the family.

"Mistress Owen! I have a letter here for Lilith here!"

"Ahhhhhhh, Miss Iyazoi. What is it that you haaaaaaaaave for her nooooow?"

"I-I don't know, Mistress Owen. It's just addressed to her."

"Here, give it to Liiiiiiilith, and you may be excuuuuused, Sakuya."

"Thank you, Mistress Owen..." The letter soon found its way into Lilith's unresponsive hands, and the head maid was off.

"Weeeeell, Liiiiilith, reeeeead it~"

"Fine, fine. AHEM! 'Dear Miss Lilith Cecille Owen, enclosed you'll find a ticket for a sub ride to the "Sun region"! Please note that the sub will leave today, around 14 on the dot. We'll look forward to seeing you arriving...' Hmm, weird, no return address, no signature... Nothing. I can't trust them."

"Why, Liiiiilith, you should goooooooooo."

"If it means I'll get away from your peppy attitude, I suppose so."

"Whaaaaaat did you saaaaaaaaay?"

"Oh, nothing. I think I will go, actually. But it said 14, right? That's a few hours from now! They didn't even say WHERE to meet them! But... There's a ticket in here, and it looks legit. Oh, wait, it says 'Subliminal Ride, Gateon Port'. Well, the 'Subliminal' part is rather annoying, but... What about you, dad? Think I should go?" The young redhead waited patiently for her father's blunt response.

"Sure, go ahead." Three words on the dot. Typical. With that said, Lilith looked at her six Pokemon. I'll only be taking one of you. Fia, my cunning Misdreavus, Lina, my energetic Lopunny, Serene, my beautiful Glaceon, and Cierra, my stunning Ninetales, you'll all be staying here. I'm sorry, but... I want to start with just one Pokemon. And that'll be Rose. I trust her more than the rest of you, mainly because she's changed the most. Though it'd be wiser to start from the beginning with a first-stage Pokemon, if what the "Shaymin" in my dream said is correct, then I'm a "Chosen one". I can't be a "Chosen one" without a powerful and reliable Pokemon, now can I? Quietly dropping the five Pokeballs off in the safe in her room, Lilith was soon out of her house, and out of Phenac.

Hours past, when Rose finally landed at the dock of Gateon Port. Looking at her fancy ruby red Poketch (which was given to her by Lucifer when he returned from Sinnoh), she sighed. She made it, with a few minutes to spare. Immediately, someone ran up to her.

"Miss Owen?"

"Yes."

"Good. Come with me." Moments later, Lilith found herself in a sub. It took off, going faster than Lilith expected. She looked around. Quick-dried food, water, a toilet. It was all there. I'm not going to be in here for TOO long, am I?

A few hours passed. More hours went by, and soon it felt like days. At last, after a seemingly long trip, the sub emerged, and Lilith was literally kicked out. The sub then went back underwater and went off. This is a trap. I just know it. They probably placed me in another part of the Orre region. Looking around at where she was, Lilith realized all this was unfamiliar. She looked at her Poketch, which said 15 on it, and went to her map application. It showed that she was nowhere in Orre. She looked at the other regions that were mapped and installed on her Poketch. She wasn't in any of them. This can't be. The Sun region really isn't real...is it?

"Oh, indeed, it is." The voice was rather nostalgic, strangely enough. Lilith turned in the direction the voice was coming from, and came face-to-face with a hooded man. He looked roughly her age, but it was hard to tell because his hood shrouded his face in darkness.

"Wh-what?" a cautious Lilith asked.

"You are indeed in the Sun Region. I hope to see you around, my dear." A few seconds passed, and he vanished. The mysterious guy vanished. Spirited away. Disappeared. Unless a small Psychic Pokemon were inside to teleport him, it was like he was a ghost. But... That voice. Where have I heard it before? Doesn't matter now, I'm in the Sun region, without any idea where I should go. What should I do?

(Aaaaand, that's it for my post. By the way, a small Touhou cameo: The Owens' head maid is Sakuya Iyazoi. In Touhou, Sakuya Iyazoi is Remilia Scarlet's head maid, and also plays a role in plenty of the other Touhou games since she was introduced. The Owens' Sakuya, however, probably doesn't throw knives/control time like Touhou's Sakuya XD)

"So I wonder where we are," said Sean aloud as he looked around. Judging by the greenery, it seems as if this forest was showing more characteristics of being a jungle then a forest. Many brightly colored flowers and bright shades of green could be seen instead of the forest green shades that is common within a forest.

No idea, simply said the electronic voice in Sean's head. At the same time Rotom could be heard giggling in it's electronic tone.

Sean laughed back in response and knew that the pokemon center must have made sure to get rid of Sean and Rotom in a place very far away. He can't even tell where the sun was due to the thick trees. "Wow, those guys must really love us if they did this to us."

Yeah, and this time we didn't even get the chance to do anything too. said the voice in Sean's head. There was some giggles from Rotom. I mean just look at what happen. We got in there too tired and you just fell into the bed.

"Yeah. We did have a long day that day," said Sean looking back on the last day he remembered in the last pokemon center he was in. Sean and Rotom were doing some last minute preparations before leaving for the Kanto Region.

I blame those dreams you been having. Nothing but bad. Just moving around at night. said the electronic voice.

Sean nodded, "Yeah. They do keep one up at night. Sucks."

What is a human and that strange pokemon doing here?

You think he is part of those dark looking fellows?

Run run run! Don't let him capture you!

Sean sighed. It seems like he was hearing more voices in his head. Sean soon let out a loud laugh and said, "Well it seems like I am losing it some more my good friend Rotom. I am not hearing more voices in my head. Whata you know."

Wow. What a looney. said the electronic voice in Sean's head. What are they saying?

"Something about weirdos being in these here woods and being captured," Sean said to summarize the voices he was hearing.

Oh, said the voice. Rotom just laughed along with Sean as they continued to walk though the forest.

Hints of the Enemy

OOC: Sorry for the inactivity, but I've had a lot of my plate with work and some bouts of insomnia. Hope this long post makes up for it!

The eerie, lifeless silence continued as Anton wandered through the forest with no particular destination in mind. Griffith lumbered along at his side, keeping his senses alert for danger. The massive Charizard had adamantly refused to return to his Pokeball when Anton had offered, saying that two sets of eyes were better than one to keep a lookout. And Anton found it hard to complain, since their newfound mental conversations were a welcome respite from the gripping silence. Neither of them, however, had heard anything else from Lugia.

'So…I wonder where we should go from here,' Anton mused.

Perhaps you should ask your Guardian for advice, Griffith offered.

'Yeah, sure, I'll just call him up on my Guardian mental hotline,' Anton replied sarcastically. But secretly he wondered if he could just talk to Lugia whenever he wished. '…Lugia? You there?' Anton ventured.

I never left, the legendary Pokemon replied simply.

'Cool, so I can just talk to you anytime?'

That's what I'm here for.

'Hey, just curious. Where are you exactly? I mean, I'm pretty sure you're not physically in my head. You must be talking to me from somewhere else.'
Anton briefly recalled the image Lugia had sent him of the underwater cavern.

It would not be wise to reveal my present location at this time, for fear of that information falling into the wrong hands, Lugia replied sagely. Now then, was there something you needed?

Anton backpedaled slightly from the abrupt change of subject but answered the Pokemon's question. 'I was just wondering if you had any idea of where we should go from here.'

Before Lugia could answer, Anton's mind was suddenly bombarded by an array of strange voices.

It's the wicked humans!

Mommy, help!

Everyone, run for it!

Anton felt Lugia tense inside his mind at the same time that Griffith went rigid, baring his teeth in a low growl. For now, I suggest investigating that, Lugia remarked before falling silent.

"Whoa!" Anton and Griffith barely had time to duck behind a tree before the first of the Pokemon came tearing down the path that they had been using. Several dozen Pidgey, Rattata, Oddish, and other species of forest Pokemon ran past their hiding place with looks of pure terror on their faces. Anton peered around the tree and saw a rough-looking, blond-haired man in the distance chasing after the Pokemon. 'Griffith, into the air quick. I've got a plan.'

Griffith launched himself into the air, folding his wings to slide through a gap in the forest canopy, while Anton sprinted back toward the clearing they had landed in originally, keeping to the shadows of the trees to conceal his presence. Looking back over his shoulder, he got a better view of the blond-haired man. His hair came down to cover his ears, and he wore black baggy shorts and a t-shirt, all lined with gold. He also wore black, all-terrain boots. A Mightyena ran in front of him, snarling and snapping at the terrified Pokemon, while a Golbat flew overhead, firing off Toxic attacks.

Anton reached the clearing first and let the last of the wild Pokemon run past him before stepping out of the shadows, in full view of the strange man. Anton crossed his arms over his chest and smirked widely as the other man and his Pokemon skidded to a stop, confusion written all over their faces. "Who are you?" the stranger barked, glaring daggers at Anton. His Mightyena crouched lower and growled with his hackles raised while his Golbat hovered above his head and hissed menacingly.

"Tisk tisk, that kind of temper isn't healthy," Anton replied casually. "And I'm not quite sure I like what you're doing, attacking all those Pokemon."

"You dare to oppose Team Falling Sun?" the stranger demanded. "You have no idea who you're messing with. We're going to rule this world soon, and if you're smart, you'll hand over all your Pokemon before I take them by force!"

Anton, that's one of Team Falling Sun's grunts. Be careful, Lugia warned.

'No worries, I've dealt with more annoying bullies in the schoolyard,' Anton replied. He turned his attention back to the grunt. "Come now, you would attack someone who's completely unarmed?" Anton held out his empty hands for emphasis.

"I don't like your attitude, boy. Mightyena, Golbat, remove this eyesore!" the grunt commanded. The two Pokemon gave battle cries and charged Anton's prone figure.

'Now, Griffith!'

A thundering roar sounded from overhead, and Griffith swooped down into the clearing, aiming a powerful Flamethrower at Mightyena and Golbat. The attack hit its mark, and the two Pokemon cried out in pain as they were flung backward to land in crumpled heaps on the ground. Seeing the grunt's shocked expression, Anton taunted, "Now…what was that you were saying about using force?"

"Grrr…I'm not done with you yet. Mightyena, use Shadow Ball! And Golbat, use Air Cutter!"

"My my, two against one? That's hardly fair," Anton said, though his stance and expression indicated that he wasn't concerned. He decided to try giving commands telepathically to throw off his opponent. 'Dodge and use Dragon Claw on Golbat!'

Griffith somersaulted in mid-air to dodge the two attacks. Red and blue flames crackled around his right forearm, and he came in too fast for Golbat to dodge. He slashed downward with the Dragon Claw, sending Golbat crashing to the ground, unconscious and knocked out.

"Little punk!" the grunt snarled. "Mightyena, Shadow Ball again!"

'Counter with Flamethrower!'

Griffith's Flamethrower collided with Mightyena's Shadow Ball, creating an explosion and kicking up a cloud of smoke. 'Aerial Ace!' Griffith's form broke through the smoke, with blades of air swirling around him, and he slammed head-on into Mightyena. The dog-like Pokemon yelped in pain and slumped to the ground defeated.

"Is that it? I was expecting more of a challenge," Anton said, smirking in victory. Griffith stood protectively in front of him, ready to attack or defend at a moment's notice.

"Grrr…I won't forget this!" the grunt exclaimed as he recalled his Pokemon. "You'll regret opposing Team Falling Sun!" With that threat hanging in the air, the grunt turned and fled, disappearing into the dense forest.

Once they were alone, Anton let out a sigh of relief. "Nice one, Griffith."

Griffith grunted in satisfaction. Same to you. Giving the commands telepathically was a good idea. Just then, Griffith gave a small start and glanced backward. We seem to have company.

"Huh?" Anton turned and saw with surprise that dozens of Pokemon – the ones he and Griffith had saved – crowded the edges of the clearing, observing Anton and Griffith from the shadows of the trees with a mix of awe and fear. Abandoning his sarcastic façade temporarily, Anton crouched down so he could be at eye level with the Pokemon and gave a warm, nonthreatening smile. 'Hey, I'm glad you're all okay. Don't worry, that guy won't be coming back to bother you.'

The Pokemon gave cries of surprise upon hearing Anton's voice in their minds. Lugia's voice sounded in Anton's mind. If I may?

'Sure, go ahead,'
Anton replied with a shrug.

Lugia spoke again, and this time Anton knew that all the Pokemon, and not just him, could hear it. This boy is one of the Seven Chosen who will put a stop to Team Falling Sun, and I am his Guardian. If you would be so kind as to show him hospitality, it would be greatly appreciated.

Murmurs of assent ran through the group of Pokemon, and a Nidorino stepped away from the trees to approach Anton and Griffith. Of course, we would be more than happy to aid you.

Could you perhaps show us a source of fresh water? We were transported here from the Pokemon Center before we could fully restock our supplies,
Griffith requested.

'And we could probably use a safe place to spend the night,' Anton added, noting that the sun was starting to set.

Nidorino glanced back at the other Pokemon to receive confirming nods. Please follow me. Anton and Griffith followed Nidorino and the other Pokemon deep into the forest for about twenty minutes. They emerged from a thick stand of trees to discover a clear brook hidden from view by thick thorn bushes and closely packed trees. "Wow, we never would have found this place on our own."

Yes, it's very well hidden, Griffith remarked.

It's the only safe place left in the forest where we can hide, Nidorino said. Sure enough, there were Pokemon everywhere – Pidgey, Rattata, Oddish, Nidoran males and females, Bidoof, Poochyena, and many other species. It was as if all the Pokemon in the forest had crowded into this small, secluded hideout. They all watched warily as Anton stepped into the clearing, but the Pokemon that had seen him fight the grunt quickly reassured their friends that he was safe.

Make yourself comfortable, Nidorino invited. You can sleep anywhere you like.

'Thanks.' He found an empty space under a tree and shrugged off his backpack and jacket with a relieved sigh. Griffith curled up on the ground and watched sleepily as Anton refilled their water canteens and then sat on a fallen log to take inventory of what supplies they still had. "Let's see…I've still got a few Potions, Super Potions, and Full Heals, but we might be in trouble if we have to do a lot of extensive battling. My food rations won't last long, however."

Anton felt a soft nudge on his boot, and he looked down to see a Rattata, a Nidoran male, and a Nidoran female gazing up at him with adoring expressions. 'Can I…help you?' he asked, quirking one eyebrow.

We wanted to give you these! Rattata exclaimed, offering the berry that he was holding in his forepaws. The two Nidoran mimicked his action, also holding up berries.

Something about the simple act of gratitude tugged at Anton's heart. 'You're giving me these? Why?'

Because you saved all of us!
the female Nidoran replied. And you're going to get hungry while stopping all those bad people!

For the second time that day, Anton gave a genuine smile. 'Thank you…'

And they weren't the only Pokemon that wanted to show their gratitude. At least two dozen other Pokemon also gave Anton all kinds of berries – Oran and Sitrus berries to heal wounds, Pecha berries to cure poisoning, berries for food, and many more.

Finally, after receiving the last gift, Anton flopped onto the ground beside Griffith just as the last light of day fled from the sky. 'Well, I don't think we're going to go hungry anytime soon now,' he remarked, hefting his now much heavier backpack with a grunt and setting it to the side. 'But I still have no idea where we should go from here.'

We can worry about that in the morning,
Griffith advised. For now, let's get some rest.

'Yeah, I guess you're right.' Anton unrolled his sleeping bag and spread it out beside Griffith. He kicked off his boots and took off his light blue button-up shirt, leaving him in just a white undershirt and black pants. He set them next to his jacket and crawled into his sleeping bag. Lying on his back, he pillowed his head in his hands and looked up at the stars, momentarily lost in thought. 'You know, I'm starting to think that there may really be something to this idea of being a chosen one. This thing with Team Falling Sun may be bigger than we imagined.'

Well, Lugia did say we would understand in time,
Griffith said.

'Somehow I'm not sure if we have a lot of time,' Anton replied. He would have said more, but mental and physical weariness from the day's events were taking their toll. His eyelids drifted shut, and he drifted into an uneasy sleep amidst the sounds of nocturnal Pokemon and the bubbling brook.

OOC: So…I'm not really sure where to go from here. Can I get some kind of plot prompt please? At this point I'm pretty much writing in a vacuum. Hope you enjoyed!

Plot Prompts:

Team Falling Sun is working on a project in a very large clearing near to the lake. Gabriella Kya, the 6th Friend, is leading this project and watching over the progress. They are digging for a special orb which is said to be able to control Legendary Pokemon. Are you able to thwart their plans??

On the other side of the island, Opal, the 5th Friend, is leading a project in the forests. They are looking for a large number of HootHoot and Noctowl to use against Pokemon and enemies to put them to sleep. They are killing and injuring many Pokemon in the process.

And thats all I can think of right now. ;]

Hmmmm. Whatever happened to the softness of my bed? Did I fall out again? But I don't remember my floor being this crunchy and uncomfortable. Oh, well. Go back to sleep.
Wake up, Phoebe.
Say what? Fine, if you insist. What time is it anyway?
Phoebe slowly opened her eyes, expecting her mother to stand over her, but what she saw was entirely different. She was laying on sand, a beach. Wait, what? How could she be on a beach.
Waaaait, her floor had felt rather... Crunchy.
But she was alone here, on an island. And if she were alone... Then who was that voice waking her up?

She looked around the beach. There seemed to be a thick forest nearby. The next thing she noticed was that she wasn't in her pajamas anymore. Apparently she got here fully clothed in her brown shorts and orange tank. Great. There didn't seem to be any food around, and there was no Pokemon or human around. A deserted island. What the hell?!
The next thing she noticed was that she was no longer wearing her normal clothes. She was now looking down at black shorts and a short black tanktop. Her feet seemed to be wrapped in some no-heel black boots. Had she imagined her normal clothing?
Another thing that was quite strange to Phoebe was that her skin seemed to have lost some of its brown colour and the little strand of curly, honey-blonde hair falling in her face.

She ran to the first thing that could act as a mirror, a shallow pool of water the tides had left. The reflection was dark and hard to read, but it was clear that Phoebe no longer looked like Phoebe. Everything about her looked dark, except for her hair. Her hair was chin-length, curly and blonde. Something it had surely never been before. There was a black headband in her hair. The clothes were lined with a yellow that was almost the same colour as her hair. the only thing that still looked familiar were the dark brown eyes staring back at her.

Finally, I've been trying to wake you for ages! You're a very heavy sleeper, do you know that?

Phoebe looked around, but there was nobody that could have talked to her. Once again, what the hell?!

I'm in your head, if that answers your question.

The vice no longer sounded like her mother's, it was almost younger, more like a girl's than a 40-year-old woman.
"Who are you, and where am I, and why do I look like this?"

I'm Latias, your Guardian, you're in the Sun region and I don't know. Its the form your spirit has decided to wear.
I guess an explanation is in order, I hate explanations. Anyway, you're here because a horrific crime is being committed. There is a team, I don't know exactly who they are but they are bad news. These people have been capturing Pokemon for god knows what plan. They are trying to control us Legendaries and take over the world. I know, not very original, right, but tell them that. Because I am your guardian, your spirit was able to take on a second form. We can do so, and now you can also.

"Great, just great. Now how do I reverse it?"

I can't tell you that, you just do. It might take a while to learn.

"So what now? I set out to save the world? How on Earth do I do that?!" Yes, she was aware that being rude to a powerful being might not be very smart, but she was mad. She had just been taken out of her comfortable bed into a strange region, looked nothing like herself and was told she couldn't do anything about that and that she was supposed to save the world.

I don't know, you choose your own path, all I can do is watch over you while you try. Perhaps with some popcorn. Either way, I would try exploring the region a bit, but be careful! And, just so you know, we're not making you do this empty-handed. Your bag is right over there with the first Pokemon you acquired. Once Pokemon is easier to handle than more of them. I'll be watching.

She looked around immediately spotted the clip-on bags where she woke up. She was delighted to see that the black shorts had placed to clip them on, and even more delighted when she closed her hand around the tiny little Dive Ball. She sent out her faithful Pokemon, Mantaray the Mantine. He floated in the air in front of her, moving his big wings to stay in the air.
"Hey there, little one. It seems like our next adventure began a little bit early than we would have liked."
She patted the Mantine on his head, which was always a little wet, in the water or out of it. He made a chiming noise that she deciphered as him telling her it was fine with him. He was such a pushover, he'd do anything you asked of him.

The decided to start combing out the forest first, to see if there was anything abnormal about it. They followed a little stream that lead deep into the forest, and to Phoebe's dismay, it wasn't quite as smooth a terrain as she would have liked. She was constantly tripping over roots and bushes, and all the while there were still no Pokemon in sight.
Well there were, but they all ran before she could even see what they were. It was like the were afraid of her. Maybe they had never seen a human before?

More and more obstacles got in her way as the forest thickened. She reached a spot by the brook that was so overgrown that it was hard to get through, but she was determined to. Meanwhile Manta simply floated over the river, enjoying being close to the water even though it was to shallow for him to swim in.
She struggled through the trees that seemed to almost be attached to each other, but finally she saw what was behind it. A clearing around the stream where a lot of Pokemon were gathered. And also, there was someone there. A black-haired boy was sleeping amidst the small forest creatures with a big Charizard by his side.
Phoebe tried to climb over the last bush standing between her and the clearing, but she stood on a thorn in the progress.
"Ow," it wasn't even really loud, but the Pokemon heard her and they weren't too happy to see her. No, they were very hostile, not hiding the fact that they were not pleased with her presence. She never had that many creatures stare at her like they wanted to attack her, it was frightening.
Manta quickly detached himself from the stream and protectively floated in front of her, an Ice Beam at the ready..

"Mmmmuh..." Elsa groaned and tightened her grip on the furry mass under her. She waited until she could feel the Houndoom breathing before she loosened it; he was still not gone from her. She allowed her head to rest against his warm body before she opened her eyes and relaxed.

Then she realized she was in a forest.

Elsa sat up quickly, everything rushing back into her head and making her dizzy. The disappearing pokemon... the fear of waking up without her only partener... and the dream. She rubbed her head, trying to remember what she could about the dream while observing her surroundings at the same time. It didn't work out too well.

There was a bright flash... the trees here are different from Sinnoh... then something about a bunch of pokemon talking to me... the ground is wet... something about being chosen... did that bush just move? ...Deoxys...

Deoxys.

Yes?

Alarm washed over her at the voice in her head, paralyzing her. She made a small noise in her throat. Houndoom's ears twitched, apparently roused from sleep by the terrified squeak. A few seconds passed of silence, both in her mind and out; her heart began to slow it's pounding. She tenetively brought the thought into her head again.

Deoxys?

Yes?

She exhaled. Same word, same tone, same voice. Either she was going crazy-- a likely option at this point-- or there was something significant to that dream. Deoxys... she had never heard the name before until last night. Elsa tried to remember. She looked over at Houndoom. The pokemon had raised it's head, and was now looking at her with a confused look. She sighed. She probably seemed crazy. But... since she was crazy anyway...

Hey... uh... are you there? She tried to think "loudly", hoping this Deoxys entity would hear her over the other strings of thought buzzing through her mind.

That would depend on how you define "there". I am, however, quite assuredly "here".

Elsa had to think about this for a while, before deciding not to pursue the matter any further. Instead, she tried to phrase another question in a way that would elicit a more reasonable response.

Why am I where I am?

You are where you are-- to be more specific, what most people call the Sun Region-- because you have been chosen.

But what have I been chosen for? She could remember that much of her dream. Thinking quickly, she switched courses. Nevermind that, what was that dream about last night?

There was a pause in the mental exchange. Elsa waited, stiff and intent.

Please relax.

Before she could ask why, her head was filled with a vivid recollection of the dream. It was as if something had unlocked the door to her unconscious memory, allowing details she hadn't even realized that she noticed to flood her mind. She remembered the pokemon, their names; she remembered being informed of the others chosen; she remembered being alone with Deoxys; she remember the feeling she experienced, the emotion of two souls being joined together...

"Woah." She shook her head to settle everything down. Houndoom nudged her side and whined; she must seem insane to him. It made her laugh, but she quickly stopped; it seemed inappropriate in such a quiet forest.

Do you understand?

Yeah...

Deoxys seemed to not have a response to that. Elsa stood up then-- she couldn't sit still any longer. Houndoom also rose and stretched. She looked down at herself for the first time. Deoxys had apparently wasted no time in transporting her to this... Sun Region, since she was still in her pajama pants and shirt. Thank goodness she had decided to wear a bra that night... she blushed, realizing Deoxys could probably hear her thoughts, and quickly tried to devote her mind to her surroundings. The forest was lush and thick, and it was cool despite the obvious humidity. She hadn't seen any pokemon since she got here-- something she was used to, sadly-- and she appeared to be alone, barry Houndoom. She reached down to pet his head instictively.

Hey... um... Deoxys? Are there other people here? People like me?

There are people in the Sun Region, yes. People like you. People quite different from you. Your questions are very open-ended.

Uh... sorry?
Elsa was quickly getting irritated with Deoxy's interpretive answers. It was like arguing with a philosopher.

Well, what do you think I should do?

That is a matter of preference--

What would YOU prefer?

I would prefer that we find strength in numbers.

Alright. She had no idea which way to go, but at this point she wasn't quite ready to attempt directions from the strange pokemon. She might well end up insane.

"Let's go... this way." She pointed to a thicket of trees from she thought she heard faint rustling. Houndoom let out a low noise of agreement, and fell into step behind her. She was very nervous; she could only hope that Deoxys, Houndoom, and her strange power would be enough to keep her alive in this alien world.

"Oh man!" said Sean as he held on to this stomach. A growl from his stomach could be heard as Sean walked though the jungle with his rotom at his side. "Well this sucks, in a middle of a forest and nothing to eat. Not my idea of having fun now."

Unless you love taking long walks aimlessly in a jungle after being dumped in a forest by the crazy nurse chicks in a pokemon center, said the voice in Sean's head. At the same time an eletronic voice could be heard coming from Rotom and the voice in Sean's head.

"Oh yeah! Buckets of fun. I so love taking long walks aimlessly in a jungle after being dumped in a forest by the crazy nurse chicks in a pokemon center," repeated Sean what the voice had said. He then laughed along with Rotom and said, "Well still there got to be somebody that lives in this forest or jungle or whatever."

Sean walked around the forest and was beginning to ignore all the voices in his head. He had no idea where thy were coming from but Sean was going to dismiss it as some sort of detoxing due to being away from people for so long.

What a kid doing here? said a voice in Sean's head.

Sean looked around and said, "Another one."

"Hey kid!" said the man dressed in black. A fierce mightyena stood by his side. Behind them was a cage filled with Hoothoots in it that let loose noise of cries.

Help us!

This hurts!

Mom!

Let me rip his weirdo pokemon to shreds!

Help help help!

"Well that second to last one voice sounded a bit out of place," said Sean. He then turned around and began to walk away, "COme on Rotom. Lets go find some food. These voices are making me hungry."

OK! laughed the voice in Sean's head. Weridos

Who does this kid think he is? Just waltzing long here thinking that he isn't afraid of me. Well I show him a thing or two with my Mightyena!

Sean turned around to see the man had took a battle stance that most pokemon trainers took when in a pokemon battle. He then pointed at Rotom and said, "Use Crunch!"

"Substitute!" said Sean.

Come to poppa! said a voice as electronic laughter could be heard in Sean's head.

The mouth of the mightyena began to take a gray coloring. The coloring of the mouth became darker as he opened his mouth more and more. He was running closer to Rotom and then jumped and bit Rotom. A loud cry could be heard as Rotom was ripped to shreads and then in a poof of smoke.

What the heck?! said to voices in Sean's head.

"What the heck?" said the man in black.

"THunderbolt the sucker," said Sean as he looked at the confused mightyena. IT seems like having his prey ripped to shreds didn't settle well with the pokemon.

Rotom began to giggle as he appeared behind the mightyena. Rotom was beginning to wrap his lightning shape arms around the dark colored mutt. A voice in Sean's head was saying, SHocky shocky time!

Soon a huge jolt of electrical energy surge though the mightyena's body. Cries of pain could be heard as some voices were cheering at the sight of the dog in pain. The Thunderbolt attack soon stopped and and the mightyena fainted from the attack.

"I guess the little puppy couldn't handle a couple of watts of electrical energy running though his body," said Sean as if what he said was nothing.

Seems like it as the electrical giggle was heard in Sean's voice.

Time for another pokemon!

Sean looked around and said, "Thunderwave."

Another round of laughter could be heard as Rotom shot though the air and towards the man dressed in black. The man turned around as he was about to reach for a pokeball with his right hand. He was face to face with Rotom and said, "Umm..."

Shocky shocky

Sean just watched from afar as blue light could be seen from the direction of the two. Sean nodded and said, "Hmm....That was a Thunderbolt. Nice touch. Still kind of disappointed that it wasn't a Thunderwave."

Ouch said a voice in Sean's head that actually sounded like a person in pain.

Oh, said the eletronic voice in Sean's head. Oh ok! THunderwave it is! Shocky shocky!

Sean nodded as a light glow could be seen. "That is more like it."

Sean soon walked over to the man and said, "So you have no food?"

The man said nothing as he twitched a few times. Food?

"Yes, food." said Sean standing above the fallen person in black.

"Uuuhhhh," said the man.

Food said the voice.

Sean nodded and said, "Hmmm....Strange. Very strange."

Rotom just laughed as he floated next to Sean. Soon an electronic voice was heard in Sean's head, Well the man doesn't seem to have any.

Free us! Free us! said more of the voices. We got food! Free us!

Sean looked at the Hoothoots and then at Rotom. "You know what, I think I am beginning to understand these voices in my head here now Rotom. It seems like it is more like reading minds."

Free us! said the voices that sounded like the hootings of the hoothoots in the cage.

Mind reading? said the electronic voice in Sean's voice. Make sense for the crazy guy.

"Well lets free these guys first so they can give us some food. Get the keys from the man." said Sean as he began to try to lift up the opening of the cage. Rotom laughed as he began to touched the man with his lightning shape arms at the same time shocking him.

Got them! said the mental voice of Rotom into Sean's head.

Midnight Intruder

OOC: Loved your post, Dutchesse! And now for Anton's reaction. Also, I hope this is okay, but I'm going to give Griffith a couple other moves – Thunderpunch and Dragon Pulse – since I wasn't anywhere near 10 when I posted by SU.

Anton was sleeping like the dead, exhausted from the day's events, when his senses were suddenly bombarded with the mental and physical distress cries of dozens of Pokemon.

Bad human! Bad human!

They've found us!

Everyone, take cover!

Anton, we've got trouble!

That last voice – Griffith's to be exact – got Anton's attention. He jerked awake with a gasp and leapt to his feet without thinking…only to come face to face with another Team Falling Sun grunt. Griffith stood in front of Anton, his wings spread and claws bared in a threatening posture while a steady stream of growls rumbled in his chest. A few feet away, a Mantine hovered just above the ground, keeping himself between Griffith and the grunt, who, Anton noticed, was a female. She appeared to be at least a couple years younger than him, with curly blonde hair and an outfit similar to the last grunt he had encountered.

A couple of things registered in Anton's mind in the first couple of seconds. First, how in the world had a grunt found this place if it was so well hidden? He couldn't help but wonder if he had been followed. Second, he realized that he probably looked ridiculous squaring off against this girl in just his undershirt, pants, and socks after having been woken up in the middle of the night. Finally, the immediate area was crowded with Pokemon, all growling and hissing at the grunt and poised to attack.

'Well, might as well take care of this one too,' Anton thought with resignation. Relaxing his posture, he ran a hand through his sleep-mussed hair and sighed as if he were bored. "Oh great, not another one," he muttered. "You guys just don't know when to quit, do you?" The girl, he noticed, didn't seem as outwardly hostile as the boy he had defeated. Instead, she seemed more surprised and slightly intimidated by the Pokemons' show of hostility.

Anton, wait… Lugia began.

Anton ignored his Guardian's warning – Why should he hesitate when the enemy is standing right in front of him, anyway? – and continued in a teasing tone of voice, "You know, Blondie, you kinda remind me of the guy Griffith and I took out earlier. Same blond hair and all…" He gestured to his hair for emphasis. "Maybe…you're his little sister?" He smirked broadly. "Oh well, I guess it doesn't matter. I won't let you hurt these Pokemon."

The Mantine hadn't budged from his position in front of the girl, and he looked ready to fire off an Ice Beam at a moment's notice. Anton spoke mentally to Griffith, 'Get ready to dodge his initial strike, and then counter it with a Thunderpunch.'

Understood, Griffith replied with a growl, tensing even more. Anton narrowed his eyes and waited for the girl's reaction…

OOC: Sorry this was short, but this is as far as I can go without Dutchesse's reaction.

Chosen

It had been two days since Solomon had discovered the ruins hidden deep underground in Sinnoh and he still felt the same excitement he had when he had come across it.

"I have a good feeling about this place Forge, I think today is going to be our lucky day, what do you think?"

"Mort!" Forge pronounced with a heavy grin. He held up a thumb which like a lighter lite and brightened the whole cave ahead. Solomon nodded and the two continued down the cave until they both arrived at a dead end.

Solomon looked up at Forge and made a confused face. He slowly placed his fingers on the letters and ran his fingertip along each of them. All of a sudden Solomon felt his head become lighter and felt his consciousness slipping.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Solomon awoke to the sounds of a loud deep roar echoing through his mind. He blinked and opened his eyes to reveal his surroundings to be a twisted and confusing place. Buildings would float by upside down and paths were twisted in front of a dark purple landscape. Solomon looked around frantically before his eyes fixed themselves on a captivating scene.
Above him was a golden trimmed dragon-like Pokemon thrashing about.
[PokeCommunity.com] ♪The Seven Chosen♪
Even more shocking was the fact that Forge was on its back launching flames at it and yelling out in fury. The Pokemon yelled out in pain and with an explosion of shadow sent Forge flying off his back into the black abyss below.
"Nooo!" Solomon yelled looking downwards into the darkness below the platform he was resting on. His hat flew off his head as the Dark dragon landed next to him changing into a much more familiar form.
[PokeCommunity.com] ♪The Seven Chosen♪
This was the Pokemon that Solomon recognized from all the walls in the ruins under Sinnoh, Giratina.
"You monster! How dare you kill my friend!" Solomon pulled a twisted piece of wood of the ground and launched it at the Pokemon. Before the gnarled twisted stick could make contact it dissapeared into an imaginary darkness and the Pokemon let out a grunt.
"Don't blame me for your... Friends rashness, the minute he saw me hovering over your body he went into a rage... Honestly I wouldn't have done it if I didn't have too." A deep voice echoed in Solomons head.
"Bring him back now!" Solomon yelled at the Pokemon without even thinking about how odd the situation was, him talking to a Pokemon and all.
"If it means so much to you.. I don't know how a hasty creature like that could be of any assistance to you but so be it..." From the darkness behind Solomon walked Forge who shared his confusion but smiled at the fact that both he and his friend were okay. Forges attention turned back to Giratina and rage spread across his face once more.
"Stop Forge relax." Solomon said and his Pokemon backed off a bit.
"Now tell me, who the hell are you? Where the hell am I? What the hell do you want from me? And how the hell are you doing all of this?" Solomons voice went out into the void and was answered by a deep violent sound that sounded almost like a chuckle.
"HUMAN! This is my world, and in my world I am not treated in such a way, I could easily kill you now and no one would ever even need to know... But.. Since your new here," The laugh went out again. "I will answer your questions... I am Giratina, protector and ruler of the reverse world, a universe in which only I and whomever I permit may exist. Here I can do whatever I wish, and I am god, I am omnicent and omnipotent. You on the otherhand, get a special privelege from all or this, I have been assigned your guardian."
"My what?" Solomon asked now intrigued.
"I have been selected to lend you some of my power and some of my wisdom on your journey for you are one of the Chosen. You have been selected to protect the world from the threat of a certain "Team Falling Sun" who has been predicted to cause great destruction. Hopefully you won't be completely incompitent but with a Pokemon like that one I wouldn't really blame you...." Forge let out a loud grunt and Giratina chuckled.
"So wait... What exactly am I going to have to do?" Solomon said ignoring the last comment.
"Even I'm not completely sure of that one kid, you're just going to have to find out for yourself." The voice began to fade away and darkness englufed Solomons body.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Solomon awoke on the hard ground covered in dirt and sand.

"What the f***?" Was all he could think to say.

Sumner: Ooh, good first post! Thats exactly how I thought Girantina would act! xDD Love Solomon's personality! You may continue. ;]

As Elsa waded through the thick brush, she kept her eyes and ears alert for any sudden movement or sound. It wasn't very hard; this place was quieter than Snowpoint during a calm day. It made her nervous, and every time she or Houndoom stepped on a twig or snapped the leaves off a branch, she jumped.

"This place is scary, Houndoom. We have to stay--" She stopped suddenly, freezing in place. Ahead of her, just through the wall of trees, was a small gap that she could see through into what looked to be a clearing. Barely visable was what she thought was a body... but it was impossible to tell without getting closer. Holding her breath, she carefully chose her steps, trying her best not to make any noise. Houndoom seemed to have a similar idea.

As she got closer, she could see that it was a human body, and appeared male. He stirred a couple times, making her heart stop, but ultimately he seemed unaware of her. Maybe he was unconcious?

She was now at the entrance to the clearing, giving her a much better view. The boy was very tall and large; Elsa tried to imagine him standing up, towering over her small form, and realized he probably wasn't a boy at all, but a grown man. This made her nervous. Not nearly as nervous, however, as the huge pokemon that next caught her eye.

Elsa had only seen a few Magmortar in her lifetime, and they never seemed to get any smaller. This one was no exception; it could crush her in a matter of seconds if it wanted to. Though the pokemon seemed to not notice her-- or not care about her presence-- it terrified her into freezing. The man on the ground seemed to regain conciousness, and Elsa heard him mumble something under his breath.

Deoxys? Can I ask you something?

If you feel inclined to.

This man... is he part of Team Falling Sun? Or is he like me?

There was a pause, in which Elsa's eyes flicked rapidly between Magmortar and the man, trying to keep them both in her vision. Then...

He is bonded with a dual soul, as you and I are. I can sense his Guardian, although it seems to be weak, as if not in the same realm as his soul... interesting...

Elsa was not so interested in the nature of his soul; the simple fact that he wasn't an immediate enemy was a relief. She loosened a bit, but a sudden movement by the Magmortar made her jump. She made a small squeak, and Houndoom took it as a threat. Within the second he had leapt through to the clearing, snarling, and charging at the giant pokemon.

"Houndoom! Stop!" Elsa jumped through in horror, trying to grab her pokemon but missing. The sudden energy of her pounce made her fall, landing in the dirt next to the man, and leaving her shaken and terrified-- for herself and her Houndoom.

Sean looked back at the man and his pokemon wondering if they were in pain. He looked at the two who were stuck in the cage that the hoothoot were in and guess that if they were to get out that they would be mad.

"SO I can here your thoughts but you can't hear mines?" asked Sean to his Rotom who was floating along side him with a huge smile.

Seems like it! I have no idea what is going on in your head there Sean-zzle! smiled Rotom as Sean heard Rotom's mental voice in his head.

Sean laughed and said, "Well sounds cool. Still wonder when we are going to get our grub on." He then looked at the Hoothoots and said, "So where the food? We are hungry here. Me and my main man Rotom here are hungry and want some food. That is if you don't mind us cooking you."

The hoothoots looked at Sean and glupped. ONe of them then said in a nervous voice, What? We got food! Don't worry! We got food! Follow us!

Sean sighed and guess they knew what they were talking about. He ducked his head a bit to avoid hitting a branch and said, "Watch it Rotom. Don't want my man there to get hurt."

Man? said Rotom's voice in Sean's head. I am a girl. What you talkin about?

Sean laughed and looked at his Rotom. He shook his head and said, "Rotom's don't have genders. Don't you guys all know you are all genderless."

WRONG! yelled Rotom's mental voice in Sean's head. Rotom rose in front of Sean and looked like Rotom was yelling at him. Sean at once covered his ears as if Rotom was yelling at him. I like to think of myself as a girl! It no matter nothing! I am all girl and I don't care what no funky scientist people say. We genderless pokemon have genders too.

Sean laughed and said, "Ok ok. I got it. Yeah you are a girl. Ok. It is all cool. You are still my main man." Sean laughed and gave Rotom a small fist pound on Rotom's lightning-like arm. Sean jumped a bit by the light shocked and said, "I mean girl."

More like it! smiled Rotom.

Here we are. said the Hoothoots. All the food you can eat!

One hoothoot looked at Sean and said, We been saving these things for a long time but we don't mind sharing.

Sean and Rotom stared at what the hoothoot called food and shrugged. Before them were many different colored berries of many different sizes. Sean laughed outloud and so did Rotom. Sean grabbed the biggest piece and said, "Well food is food!"

Phoebe has to admit, the Charizard did not look to good right now. It looked tensed and ready to fly at her. One thing was a dozen forest creatures, another was a full grown Charizard. It didn't look too good for her. It was, what? A hundred against one? So unfair. But why? They didn't seem to object to the dark-haired boy to be there with his Pokémon. Why were they objecting so much when she came in? She wasn't any different than he was, was she? The next thing he said seemed to bother her.

"Oh great, not another one, you guys just don't know when to quit, do you?"
The thing that bugged her most was that it simply didn't make any sense. Another one? You guys? Maybe he'd had trouble with other humans, but that didn't mean he could just assume she was bad news like that. No reason at all why he and all the creatures around him would not hear her out first instead of attacking her the moment she showed her face. That was just rude. She was about to respond when he spoke again.

"Maybe…you're his little sister? Oh well, I guess it doesn't matter. I won't let you hurt these Pokemon."

Whenever was she going to hurt the Pokémon in the first place? And she was no one's little sister. This guy had some serious head problems, that's what was going on. Definitely head problems. But she's had it with his idiocy. She'd had it with this whole thing in general. She could feel anger boiling up.

"Manta, lay off," she whispered to Manta Ray. He stopped his prepared Ice Beam and moved more to the side of her, but he was still ready to attack if necessary.

"What the hell is your problem anyway?! First I find myself in a freaking abandoned island, then I find out that I don't even look anything like myself anymore! Then I come here and these Pokémon seem to want nothing more than to rip me apart on the spot. And then there's you and your idiocy!" she spit the word out at him, aware she might have sais too much, but there was no stopping this now. She was just too mad. "What the hell do you mean anyway? Another one? Care to explain that bit to me? You'd think you wouldn't just randomly going around accusing people and not even explaining. And just so you know, I do have a big brother, but he's not anywhere near and doesn't look anything like me! And just for your information, the Pokémon are ready to hurt me not the other way around. So what don't you just go back to your sleeping beauty status and leave me the hell alone!"

By the end of it she was breathing a bit heavily, having spat all that to him without too much room to breathe. There, let him take this in. That idiot.

((Sorry if it;'s not much ))

A New Ally?

OOC: So sorry for the delay, but summer jobs kill RPs…

Anton watched as the girl whispered something to her Mantine, and the blue glow of his Ice Beam faded as he moved to her side. Griffith relaxed slightly as well. He was still ready to attack, but Anton had made it clear to let the opponent make the first move before retaliating. Her expression morphed from shocked and wary to downright furious. So…Anton had struck a nerve. Her eyes flicked back to his, and that's when the outburst started.

"What the hell is your problem anyway?! First I find myself in a freaking abandoned island, then I find out that I don't even look anything like myself anymore! Then I come here and these Pokémon seem to want nothing more than to rip me apart on the spot. And then there's you and your idiocy!"

Anton flinched inwardly as she spat out that last word, but it wasn't the first time a girl had called him an idiot. His cynical attitude tended to get on people's nerves after all. However, something else she said stuck out to him. Abandoned island? If she really were a member of Team Falling Sun, then she would know that this region was far from being abandoned. The frustration and anger in her eyes was too genuine to be a deception. And what did she mean by not looking like herself?

Lugia's voice abruptly intruded into Anton's thoughts. If you would have listened to me, I was trying to tell you that this girl is a Chosen.

Anton backpedaled mentally. 'What? Are you sure? But she's dressed like a Team Falling Sun grunt!'

I can sense that her soul is linked to another. I believe it's Latias.
Anton remembered vaguely that Latias was rumored to be able to shape-shift. Perhaps she had transferred some of that ability to this girl?

"…just go back to your sleeping beauty status and leave me the hell alone!"

Anton let a tiny smirk creep across his lips as the girl was breathing heavily after yelling at him like that. He had to admit, he liked her spunk. Easy, Griffith. I don't think she's a threat. Griffith relaxed his posture further and stepped to Anton's side. To the other Pokemon, he added, Hold on, guys. Let me talk to her first. The Pokemon didn't back down, but he could sense that they had heard him and weren't about to rip the girl to pieces.

"Heh, I've been called many insults before, but sleeping beauty is a new one on me. I'm flattered," Anton replied teasingly. "But I'll explain to set your pretty little head at ease. You're in the Sun Region, and it's far from abandoned. Team Falling Sun has been causing a lot of trouble here by capturing and torturing Pokemon. As for these guys…" he gestured to the Pokemon standing around him, "…the reason they want to rip you limb from limb is because…well…you look just like one of their grunts. Oh, and one more thing…" Anton smirked broadly and crossed his arms over his chest. "I'm also a Chosen, so I guess that makes us comrades, eh?"

Smooth, Anton. Very tactful, Griffith remarked sarcastically.

Is he always like this? Lugia asked.

No, sometimes he's worse.

'Gee, thanks for the support, guys,' Anton said, though his outward expression didn't change. He knew he had thrown a lot of information at this girl all at once, so he waited and inwardly braced himself for her reaction.

Kat blinked a few times. No, it wasn't her parents standing over her, but a big, scruffy dog. Ivan. She sat up as Ivan wagged his tail and he licked her cheek. She giggled for a moment before realizing that she didn't recognize where she was. At all.

She was on a beach covered in sand. Oh how wonderful. She wouldn't be able to get sand out of her long brown hair for a week! "Where are we...," She muttered, dazed and confused. She reached back to a bump on the back of her head. It hurt. "Oh that's right.. I fell."

Hehe, sorry about that... A muffled voice echoed in her head. Still a little dazed, she didn't notice its significance. She stood up and immediately felt dizzy. Something was odd about this place, but maybe that was just the concussion.
