Edit to add: Don't feel like you have to let him have it just because he's a kid though. He's old enough to understand and eager to just help out other poké-brony-pegasister Hogwarts students. Like a true Hufflepuff, he will just be happy he helped someone else get a shiny (and get the form picture in his dex), no compensation necessary. If you still don't want to deal with a kid though, I can always handle the whole thing rather than merely oversee the process.
