In its day, there was quite a lot of interest in making Wildfire decks, quick-burn decks that punished the high usage of Oaks and Bills by running less of these and LOTS of Energy Retrieval.
The lack of water weakness is nice for a fire, but 70hp and two retreat is a bit of a pain.
Eventually most people realised that wildfire decks still sucked, and that Haymaker and Raindance were still king...
Twas fun while it lasted though, and was, to my mind, the best attempt at a stalling deck at that time.
