3rd Gen 1-pokemon battle tower sweeps...

    Have any of you ever swept battle tower with the same pokemon (it never retreating of its own will or fainting)? I'm able to sweep the level 100 battle tower with my Zangoose...all I ever need is Return and Shadow Ball, and it can take anything down in three turns at the very most (usually one unless it's something huge like a Salamence...) I know this isn't an amazing feat or anything...I'm just using this as an example :P Who have you done it with?
     
    Well, I haven't competed in the battle tower for a long time, though it is quite easy, compared to netbattle and such =/.If you have a super strong sweeper, like Slaking, you can most likely take care of anything, at least that's how I see it :P

    Although any of my final form starters have done that, The one that does it most is my swampert. I built him all rounded out so he could take on almost anything. Judging by his moves, he can down a fire type, grass type, dragon type, flyuing type, steel type, and rock type just from remembering off the top of my head what he's annnihilated with super effective hits.
     
    [shrug] I think my Zangoose just has insanely high attack...I don't try it with anything else because all my good pokemon are between 50 and 100. I'm sure my Blaziken, Latias, and Kyogre will all be able to sweep the tower if I ever get them up to level 100.
     
    No...his one drawback is that I keep False Swipe on him incase I ever encounter a shining pokemon. He really ought to know Earthquake, though, you're right.

    Actually, you can't use Kyogre in the battle tower, nor any other 1rst and 2nd Tier(excluding Slaking) pokemon. Also, you can't use Celebi, Jirachi, Mew(Which are third Tier pokemon)

    My Metagross although not amazing, can do pretty well in the battle tower, but I haven't really done too many rounds of the battle tower because I'm trying to get more pokemon to lv100.
     
    Eh...then it's a good thing I didn't try and seriously train my Kyogre. I don't do battle tower all that often so I don't really research anything about it.
