100% New FireRed Titlescreen

when I finish all the steps my new image [Instead of charizard] just isn't there... any ideas?
 
I have a question.

Because I don't have Photoshop (and I am NOT going to spend that much money for something I will rarely use) but I have MSPaint and Paint.NET...is it possible to do this same thing using one of those two, or do I absolutely NEED Photoshop to change the titlescreen?
