This is a game I'm workin on and I would like to know what you all think of the story. It's kind of a generic RPG style game but I hope to make it standout with a few extra features and a good storyline. Give me any suggestions or criticism you may have. I promise I wont cry. :(... No I won't cry! (this is a long one so make sure ya got time. thx again.)
~Introduction to the Background
Before time was recorded, humans lived on the east coast of the continent Rahiia. As population grew, leaders began to see the need for expansion. As Mankind expanded west they soon came to realize they weren't the only intelligent beings on Rahiia. As they reached the center of the continent, they came across Dragons who originated from the west coast and had encountered the same problem of over population. At first neither side was willing to share and war ensued. Eventually, with no side budging, the leaders of the sides met for peace talks. The solution they talked about was to share the area in the middle of the continent. The Dragons readily agreed but the Human leader, Raachshiin said he had to discuss it with his advisors, Kiiln and Franniith. Frannith was as eager as the dragons and supported the idea immediately. Kiiln, however, did not. He said that these dragons could not be trusted as they were mere beasts. Eventually the three came up with their own treaty that accepted the idea for peace but at the same time put Kiiln next in line for the position of Human Leader. And so began the era of peace.
~Introduction to You~
You find yourself in the woods as it starts to rain heavily. you decide it's best if you get inside as soon as possible and rush towards where you are pretty sure there is a town. However, before you make it out of the woods you begin to feel dizzy and and the world fades to black...
You wake up somewhere that you have never been. Maybe someone brought you here while you were unconcious. It seems that this is the Shrine built in the very center of Rahiia to honor the peace agreement ninety years past. You begin to hear a rumbling from the east. As you turn to face east you see a line of dust cloud expanding across the entire horizon. The human army is on the move. In minutes they are upon you and rush in to assault the Dragons. The Human army sweeps all around you and you fear that you may be trampled. You see the army easily overrun the Dragons nearby as finally a horseman accidentally clips you and you fall unconcious.
When you awake yet again you are in a building you have never seen let alone been to. You recognize the architecture to be Dragon and realize you must be in the far west. How could you have gotten here? You don't have much time to ponder however as you see a Human in large mail armor confront a Dragon, one of the 11 Dragon lords. The Human plunges his hand into the Dragon's chest and rips out it's heart and the Dragon falls and lies still. A strange fog surrounds you and when it finally dissapates you see nothing. Everything is black. You hear a voice beside you. Hello young sir, what might be your name?" you turn to look and see an older man with stately looking robes and an air of power around him. As the etiquette of Humans on Rahiia demands you give him your name. "Ah, rain as in the weather?" the man asks. "Pronounced the same but spelled R-a-y-i-i-n." You reply. "Ah yes. Of course, I already knew this but i thought it best to stick to your cultures as not to scare you off. So I bet you've alot of questions and I bet my answers will get out everything I came here to say. So, go ahead." He says. "Wait you had to say, who are you?" You ask, admittedly rudely. "Ha, ha. Yes I thought that would come first. To you I am **** (srry i have no name for him yet :D)" he answers. "Okay then next question... what the @#$% just happened?" you demand. "Ah yes" he begins, not noticeing your demeanor."That was, first, the Human army attacking the Dragons and then a Human ripping out a Dragon Lords heart." "But this is just a dream right?" You ask, starting to panic. "Oh yes of course." he replies. "Okay, so this isn't real?" You ask, beginning to calm down again. "Oh no it is real. Well, it isn't real yet but will most assuredly be soon." he tells you. "What?!? But what about the peace treaty? Raachshiin would never break the peace treaty!" you ask, frantic once again. "Ah, you're right he wouldn't. Now you can figure the rest out."He dissapears and everything goes black again.
