Thanks to Water Pokemon Master from www.pokebeach.com for the scan.

I'd feel more confident if it said "Paralyzed" in the power, but then, it would be broken. Still, Sleep is the second best status anymore, and the best part: Venusaur doesn't have to be Active. Which is good, as it will take a while to charge. Still, that attack, which usually takes off 2 counters, is incredibly decent. Plus the HP will insure that it will stick around for a while.

    8/10.

And most importantly: the flaming monkey cannot OHKO it without PlusPower or Strength Charm.

Essentially all I can do is agree with Charaxes - excellent card, great HP, power and attack, expected Retreat Cost and Weakness, and essentially very good. 7/10.

agree with the others but would also like to say the artwork is horrible, regardless of how much it doesn't matter.

I'm not seeing how this card is that amazing, especially when Parasect MT is pretty much a cheaper and better alternative. (90Hp, GGC for 60 and remove 20, stage 1, better weakness & retreat).

Miracle Aroma is a great power to have, especially since it works as often as you like and can be done from teh bench. With 2 Venusaurs out, I would say you've practically got the game in hand thanks to sleep and poison/burn dropping of the opponents hit points.

Giant Bloom on the other hand is a letdown. 60 damage to an active isn't an overly intimidating maximum damage. Healing 40 is a nice bonus, but it's still quite flippy.

And most importantly: the flaming monkey cannot OHKO it without PlusPower or Strength Charm.

I keep forgetting that card. Or I remembered, but forgot to re-edit. Silly me.

To go with jwilso72, I can see your point about damage/flip-dependant. To go with your theory, I'd say Parasect for the early game, and Venusaur for the middle, myself. As for the attack, at least, it can do something, so it's a nice start and doesn't have to be a benchwarmer, if need be.
